My fire team was doing good until we started running into people who constantly ran in, quick scoping with sniper rifles and sliding with shotguns. We were instakilled over and over and over. It was very upsetting to know that our coordination was no match for three people sliding around with party crasher +1 at the beginning of every round, killing us instantly from medium ranges every time. It just seems so game breaking, and I really don't care to sink to their level just to have a chance at winning. It would be so much better if special ammo was treated like heavy ammo in pvp, just with more frequent spawning. I know I can't be the only one who feels this way.

While your remarks about special weapons would pair excellently with cheese, I'm always in approval of less special ammo.
-
Get rid of special ammo and those same players will still wreck you with primaries.
-
Use skip grenades to force them into a bottle neck and just sniper them it's like shooting fish in a barrel lol
-
Thy did this already, literally every person was using Ice Breaker, Invective, or a sidearm.
-
Let's see. If they ban special ammo or made it like heavy ppl will use. UR/NLB and a sidearm. You'll still face the same issue. ToO isn't for me ((I've realized that a long time ago)) I just do bounties and finish the book part and after that I'll leave it be.

They tried this and people just used Ice Breaker to get ammo…

They tried this

Making special ammo start at 0 only lead to even further balance issues. The team that would win the first round would gain a huge advantage from the ability to pick up ammo while the whole other team could still be at zero. It also made weapons that regenerate ammo rather broken. If you're getting destroyed by the other team, it's a matter of skill. You have the same special weapons at your disposal, and you either chose not to, or fail to use them properly.

Everything should start at zero, melee and grenade ftw

LOL, noob.

The problem has nothing to do with special weapons. Absolutely nothing. The problem is primary weapon. That is all. When special weapons dominate after receiving so many nerfs the problem can not be with the special weapons. Shotguns have taken many nerfs yet remain beyond effective. Snipers are stupid easy to counter, even in their intended range. While this quote is speculation this whole special argument reminds me of a Henry Ford quote. "If I gave people what they wanted, I would have built a faster horse." This is exactly what is going on right now. People don't understand what is going on and why something is problem. I do not care if Bungie won't actually change primary kill time, that is the problem.

They tried that, didn't do much but piss everyone off. People started the matches with Icebreaker, then switched to their favorite sniper for round 2.
-
I'm still wouldn't change anything. People would then run Universal Remote.
