Hey Bungie
Why not help players by getting rid of the weapon synthesis cool down time altogether. It would really help in activities like the Nightfall strikes

Yes they really need to make the game even easier. I mean we should all only equip the gally and move on right?
-
Definitely not. But, 3 three types should be on their own respective cool downs.
-
Dat idea iz boren af bruh
-
Are alot of people on this game masochists? Why not have some perks that help players and not just having everything nerfed?
-
Why so you can just use gjallarhorn for literally the entire strike? -blam!- outta here with that nonsense.
-
-
PvE needs challenge. I can imagine people abusing the synth if they removed the cool down. My only issue is why they removed primary synth?
-
Absolutely -blam!-ing no. Boss fights would lose all strategy and descend into insane amounts of Gjallarhorn/Sleeper Simulant spam. Bosses would die in a minute or less. It wouldn't be fun because of how skilless the fight was. The fact that you want this mechanic implemented because Nightfalls are too hard is apalling. Nightfalls are shitass easy from Y2 onwards. Y1 Nightfalls were truly challenging.
Git gud scrub
Yeah so we can burn all the bosses down under a minute. Yeah great idea.
*Facepalm*
I'm actually all to the cool down. I just wish we could pop a heavy and special at the same time.
-
Nice way of killing mechanics. The synths are set up to give you 1 heavy pack per attempt on an encounter. The last thing we need is mor burning techniques and bullet sponges.
-
Lol...no i like using other weapons...quit asking for an easy mode.
-
Heavy ammo makes hard fights easy, ESPECIALLY with gally back in the game. No to the 100th power, we already complain about a lack of content.
-
No. You could have infinite heavy, which is beyond broken.
-
That would make it too easy wtf mate
-
Bump, the simplest solution would be to do a cool down for each category of ammunition, it often happens that the handcannon bullets do not drop for a long time in PvE (generally handcannons are the only guns with this problem, even with auto rifles the situation is better), so you have to choose between heavy and primary ammo, it is very annoying.
-
A reasonable compromise would be to at least reduce the cool down time.
-
Get rid of synth cooldown on primary, but keep it on the others. Snipers and heavy's DPS is high enough that it is a gamebreaker for them to get removed. (Remove what was better for KF, sniper or heavy machine gun and now Gjally). That makes bullet hoses and pther weapons more viable in PvE as well and actually gives them a use. That said, maybe split special and heavy cooldown?
-
Nightfall boss would be dead within 30seconds everytime. It will be to easy. Saying that it's easy enough as it is now. What they should let you do is let use our D-PAD to add heavy snyths rather than going into a menu.
-
Lol your joking right? Pve is already super easy. You just want to be able to spam heavy the entire time so u dont even have to try. Like this game isnt already broken enough lol
-
No, because PvE will become even easier than it already is, and trust me, that isn't a good idea. What should happen is a revamping of the cooldown timers. Allow me to propose an idea. Primary synth: 1:00 Special synth: 2:50 Heavy Synth: 5:00 (unchanged) This I think, would be the perfect solution, as it makes cooldown timers more realistic, as the time varies depending on the class of weapon (Primary, Special & Heavy)
-
No no no cuase that would just make it easy and boring it's their so we can't just put on heavy pack after heavy pack and when put on a speaical pack.
-
I would to see helms or chest armour have perks that affect ammo synth cooldown. Maybe removes a minute or gives you extra ammo. Some armour perks are quite useless. Maybe popping an ammo synth gives you a stat boost for the duration of the cooldown.
-
Great idea

I think it should act differently in different situations for example: 1. Timer resets to 0 if you team wipes. For example in a raid or nightfall, if your full team wipes and you start over at a checkpoint, you are free to use another synth. 2. The counter should reset at the completion of times events like Archons Forge and CoO, as well as public events and after completing rounds in PoE. 3. As with above, once the "free" synth is used, there is a 2.5 minute cool down until you can use another. The allows you to use them more frequently, but also have to use some thought and strategy in how you want to approach an encounter.

No cheesing
