Just thought I'd post this here in the chance that maybe some people hadn't caught wind of this yet.
A game development company, Homicide Games is apparently filing lawsuits against anonymous users who gave their game bad reviews on Steam.
They are also attempting to sue a YouTuber for bad mouthing the company and games.
And now, they are filing a lawsuit against Valve, who have removed all of Digital Homicide's games from the store, and made a statement that buisiness between the two company has ended due to Digital Homicide being hostile towards Steam customers.
All in all, pretty funny to watch grown adults throw a temper tantrum.
I'm gunna sue you, you, AND you!
Is this even allowed? Is that even possible? Suing someone because, "You gave my product a bad review!"
-
homicide games tried to sue ppl for defamation first, they did this as a get rich quick scheme it seems so valve suspended their games from steam they deliberately released 1-2 dozen shoddy "freemium/pay to win" games on steam, then they sued EVERYONE they could for defamation when they got bad reviews. so homicide games is currently being sued by steam

And here I was thinking that people learn from mistakes made in the past. Apparently I was wrong.
-
I started a thread about this a couple of weeks ago. DH has gone full retard if they think they can win this lawsuit or the lawsuits against Jim Sterling and Valve.
Never go full retard!
Thier gonna go out in a blaze of stupid.

Edited by Parazrael: 10/2/2016 2:34:02 AMThese guys file lawsuits more liberally than I eat bacon.
-
Watch Jim Sterling's videos on them, he's the YouTuber they're probably trying to sue, you'll learn all about Digital Suicide from that vid.
-
shit man, I see adults throw temper tantrums on these forums and sub forums everytime I open the app lmfao.
-
Thank god, for Jim Sterling
It's sad when a company can't take constructive criticism.
-
Don't make games if you can't handle criticism
-
This company must been ran by #Offtopic.
-
There's no way in hell they could stand up to Valve's legal team. I hope that they stay quiet after they lose.
-
Realistically, DH brought this whole thing on themselves. Instead of handling Jim Sterling's critique of the Slaughtering Grounds like mature adults, they throw a fit and tantrum like spoiled brats.

Anyone want popcorn?ive got sweet, salty and melted caramel peanut butter
-
Guh. After Jim Sterling, you'd think they would have learned. Idiots.

Edited by BEAT HAZARD 62: 9/30/2016 11:39:26 PMThey get triggered really easily, lol.
-
All of you get a lawsuit!!!
-
They should change their name to Digital Suicide.
-
I wonder if they are partnered with React. Lmao
-
Lol. I think it's funny when a bunch of 12 yr olds run a company and then get butt hurt when people don't like their games
-
Next on the suing list, the losses sustained from that X number of people not buying their games
-
They're dumbasses. That's all I can really make of this.
-
It's hilarious and one of those people that left a shitty review is me. Honestly, i've never laughed so much than I have about those morons.
-
I mean at this point the bar really can't go any lower right?
Right?
-
Counter sue them
-
I thought it was a general murder
