Unable to Join Local Network Fireteam Problems
I hope the next HotFix will fix this issue. I am still experiencing issues where I am unable to join another member of the family who is in a fireteam on our local network. This game is the whole reason we have 2 PS4s. It makes playing Destiny not as fun because we can't help each other out with the DLC. Please let us know when this will be fixed. All of the work around I have seen online haven't done a thing. Thanks.

Thanks.[/quote] Same here on the One my bf & I are frustrated too BUT for now we found out that if you end up at the same place like the Tower you can then join the Fireteam... no idea if it would work for more than two players.

I have the Exact same problem on xbox one... can't play with my son, but i can play with strangers....What is going on....plz bungie do something... we bought a 2nd xbox one and destiny just for that.....

1 ReplyI've had the same bloody issues for weeks now. And it seems to be getting worse. My nephew who also plays Destiny alot has come to stay for his 2 weeks school holidays and I set 2 more tv's up next to mine for my son and nephew and I to be able to play together while he's here, but thanks to absolute incompetence from Bungie we can't even get in the same fireteam 85% of the time, and therefore have been unable to do pretty much anything at all together the whole time he's been staying with me. Even right now my son and I are unable to join each other's team. Our plans of knocking out Archos Forge bounties together completely ruined. In my opinion it's disgusting that a company can continuously take people's cash for a product that's broken, and then completely bloody ignore those people when they are having major issues with their broken product. How hard would it be for someone from Bungie to give updates on how the fix for this is coming along????

1 ReplyFunny thing is...you won't see a response from Bungo and their sh!tty community team. You won't see anything in the way of a fix, until they fix any issues in game that might benefit the players in completing content or leveling. They have your money so this is very low priority on their end, guaranteed.

1 ReplyWe're in exactly the same position, this is still a thing, but Bungie seems to have gone quiet in their weekly updates about this, We also bought the second ps4 for my sons (and me) occasionally when I can get on to play together. It works sometimes if we restart both ps4 s simultaneously, but it's pot luck whether they will link, never had a problem up to that fateful patch that day.

So we have 3 xboxes on the same network and we were all unable to connect to each other. Tried all the fixes on the forums, but couldn't get anything to reliably work. So as a last ditch effort we put our comcast supplied router/modem in bridge mode so it only performed the modem duties and hooked up a cheap 20 dollar trendnet router. This has fixed all our issues and we've been playing together with no problems ever since. So if you have a 2 in 1 modem/router its worth trying a standalone router as a fix.

Thanks a lot bungie you jerks my son and I won't be able to play together again it is outright retarded on your part after all the time money and effort I've put in the game to be able to enjoy it with my son and his brothers I get a fu from you why I even bothered to spend the money on roi ?

We are having the same problem and it's so frustrating. My daughter has figured out a way that has helped the three of us play, maybe it will help you, just know it is a pain. Have everyone sign off there character go to settings, click blue ray, click persistent storage, then click clear. Now go to network , click advanced setting, click alternate MAC address then select clear it should give you a restart option pick that. When you have restarted turn off your Xbox and then unplug router and modem and wait a few minutes, plug back in a wait for it to come on ( we check our phone for wireless) then sign on to your Xbox as normal and it should work. We have been doing this for a couple of weeks and have only not had it work once. To bungee: we have been loyal to you and have played for 2 years we now have 3 boxes so we can play together and it seems like you are not as loyal to us. I think this is the last upgrade we will purchase unless this is fixed. Good luck to those trying to play together hope this helps

1 ReplySame with me . Two Xone at house network and we are not able to play at same team. This game was the reason to have a fun with my kid and after the updqtes we are not playing. Bungie we bougth two set of Destiny and ROI. So please we need some action from you to fix it. We have two live licences and all us in double so. Please give some attention to your custumers. Same problem it's getting pretty old not being able to play with anyone else's connected To my wifi it's hard enough finding other people to play with now I can't even play with my girlfriend

Four PS4s in the same household here and unable to join each other since the hotfix. This issue is the same as the week before Rise of Iron where connection was just not available. I know we've had restart issues since Destiny launch, but this is a complete "No no no". C'mon Bungie, surely it's not that uncommon to have more than one console in a home.

Same here, joining local network fireteam started working for me yesterday 9/28/16 but todays hotfix f'ed it up again, now i can not play with my brother, missing out on raids because of this issue, please fix soon, i have not been able to play or go on a raid with my brother since iron lords dlc came out because of this issue, seriously considering demanding a refund it is killing my whole experience with the game

I wait for my time with my kids and get just a few days when they with me. We were looking forward to playing the new dlc.
