Nerfing has ruined PvP

Like honestly. I'm one of those day 1 players. When everything was fresh and no one had any reason to complain. I took a long break from destiny, picked it up maybe 3 weeks ago, thinking I would still do pretty well in the crucible. I main TLW (I honestly just love the gun) but didn't start using it til the House of Wolves expansion. Granted it was seriously an OP primary exotic, it was the only weapon I actually invested time in perfecting. Even through all the somewhat justified nerfs, I still used it with pretty good results. But this isn't about TLW, this is more about the current state of the game. More specifically within the Crucible. It seems now that bungie has addressed every players inability to adapt and completely merged everything, and in turn made the game much harder to enjoy. Snipers are now nerfed to hell, and to be honest I couldn't care any less because it was absolutely no fun at all to get popped from a distance you couldn't close fast enough. I don't use snipers. Not because I believe it was a cheap and infuriating way to get killed, but because I just don't believe anyone deserves to get shat on that bad. It's a bad feeling to lose to one bullet. But guys let's be honest, aside from aim assist, all it would ever take is a sniper bullet to the head to kill anyone, both in game and in RL, so I could only get but so upset. And sometimes I would even go out of my way to commend someone for such an amazing shot, sportsmanship guys. Year 2 was very interesting and fun I think because it was so broken. Hand cannons dominated along snipers. Auto rifles were pretty much non existent, and the shotguns OH MY GOD don't get me started. Year 1 however seemed to be the most innocent and purest.... uh version of the crucible though. No one really had anything to bitch about because the game was fresh. But because people were loosing solely on skill (I really think this is the source of all of our problems in year 3), they cried and bitched at bungie to nerf certain weapons and architypes to help better their chances at winning with whatever weapons they preferred to use. This is where shit hit the fan. Nurfing (primary) and patching (secondary) has officially become the Meta for all things crucible now. I honestly feel like this is where our problems truly began. Once the community knew that bungie is somewhat of a nice guy and will help with crying demands for changes that are convenient for one demographic, it seemed like it was just going downhill from there. Every 4 or 5 months or so another patch is released, including all of those wonderful nerfs everyone has desperately cried for. And I get it. You just wanna win using what you're comfortable with. But at this point it just seems like bungie is literally handing out handicaps to the players who are too prideful to try different things. I'm one of these guys but I've not once cried for a nerf. Even when TLW was nerfed, I still used it. It didn't come without pain. Trust me I e struggled hard re-learning how to use my favorite gun. I still to this day use it, as useless as it seems now. But here's the thing of it, as it stands I'm doing horrible in the Crucible, I shoot blanks more often than not but I still keep pushing to understand how to better utilize my primary. I'm not asking bungie to un-nerf my gun because I know how to ADAPT. I truly believe that the PvP community truly ruined the current state of the game because of the constant nerfing. You ask for auto rifle nerfs, and inevitably another class will become the Meta. This is a completely redundant cycle that we keep allowing to happen. I say just take us back to year one and keep it that way. At least until Destiny 2. EDIT*** Awesome responses guys. All I'm getting is honesty and I couldn't ask for more. And thanks for it badgering this post, you guys are awesome.
