Green engrams auto dismantle
Can we please get an auto dismantle feature already. I am getting really sick of constantly dismantling greens. I get it people need parts, so just give me the parts already. It would be really nice if I could set a light level, so anything under say 341, rare or below auto dismantles.

It's pretty bad when as you can see people are dismantling, and deleting blues to keep their postmaster from filling up with greens or blues, and get the higher gear like legendary or exotic. Postmaster might even need an adjustment like higher limit, and getting rid of green or blue to save a legendary or exotic. Certainly something needs to be done about this because it is worse than the loot cave incident! This is a reverse loot cave giving us tons of lower gear we can't even collect later. We are having people leave raids and Archon forge to go to the tower and clean out the postmaster, and come back to fireteams. We shouldn't be worrying so much about these engrams while playing the game. They are getting horribly distracting from the awesome experience the new DLC has brought us. As you can see a lot of people want something done, and I am sure the responses will continue to grow on this post. Please Bungie fix the engram issue, and adjust postmaster so we can all just get on with having fun in the game for hours and not worry about our drops.

At the very least let everyone move/dismantle postmaster items from an app and not have to go to the postmaster to do this. This is year 3 and keep in mind things are filling up. I keep multiple items on my character as I am leveling up to see if I get something higher before I infuse so sometimes 3-4 character slots are full and items go to the postmaster. It is too easy to go on patrol or missions and fill up the postmaster and then do a strike and have no inventory slots. I have lost at least an Imago Loop and 2 exotic engrams from the postmaster because it took a blue/green and kicked out a purple/yellow. This should never happen. Would it be hard to prioritize what gets booted from the postmaster? If the postmaster could fill up with purple/yellow that wouldn't be bad. That could solve the entire issue.

Bump bump bump bump bump bump. I've always wanted a feature like this. Run over a green and boom automatic weapon or armor part and 50 something glimmer. It would make me so happy, instead of enemies "dropping" stuff for us. The would literally give us money from killing them and some parts they scavenged, much more engaging lore wise.

1 ReplyIt was nice when the as bungie put it before Rise of Iron dropped the bug was in effect where after a certain amount of kills the green engrams stopped dropping only low level characters need them. I am tired of constantly seeing useless engrams dropping for me. Plus when they drop more often then blue engrams then I walk over them and pick them up and in turn end up with a full inventory of shit gear that I don't even need. And in the middle of a raid boss fight I can't just stop and dismantle them to make room for my legendary quality gear rewards. This little bug fix is more of a nuisance then anything else.

6 RepliesNoooooo their answer in y2 was just to remove them and armor and weapon parts were impossible to get remember we had to buy them I assume that if they could have they would have restored it with that feature in place

1 ReplyI'll leave greens and low blues in my inventory as placeholders. If I get strike boss drops, or legendary/exotic engrams I want to make sure I don't lose, I'll dismantle some items to make room. Otherwise, you can't automatically pick up greens if there's no room in any of your slots.

Agreed, or just skip a step and let green just be weapon parts or armor material.

4 RepliesNo, that's what makes the Destiny experience different from other games. You have to dismantle your own green engrams. We should work for some of the things in the game. Dismantling green engrams is one of them.

Yes, also we need another page in our menus for engrams, not filling slots in our equipment categories. Let us carry like 50 engrams, they need their own spot, because they do nothing for us in the field.
