Honestly stuck at 340-341 light.. Help me please?
I've done everything anyone has told me.. run strikes, and yes im running heroic siva crisis strikes. None of my loot that's dropped has been higher than a 343 blue gun. I have my highest gear on which are blue engrams. I tried to farm omnigul but too many of the groups i met up with didn't have raze lighters and enough common sense to kill her a decent amount of times. What do I do and/or what am i doing wrong?

Do the 320 strikes. Bosses drop 2-3 blues up to 365

Simple answer: Do the 350 strikes. I did at 342 cause I was stuck. 30 minutes later, I'm 350.

1 ReplyAs others have said, rather than run Heroic Strikes, run specific strikes from the map at 320 difficulty. Sepiks, Taniks, Valus, etc. The Blue engrams go up to 365, I don't know if this is deliberate or an oversight as I don't think you get them from 320 strike playlists. Definitely easier than Heroics.

2 RepliesThe Siva strikes is the best grind (until you hit 365). Are you doing the hardest strikes? Cuz at 340 - their pretty tough. If you get tired if striking, just do your favorite activities - all factions n vendors give higher light, all the way up to 385. Plus there's always 3oCoin. Legendary engrams max at 365 CoE Sigil rewards max at 365 Siva Strikes boss engrams max at 365 Nightfall loot goes to 385 Exotic Engrams goes to 385 Archon Forge drops at 385 Vendor packages at 385 Vanguard Packages at 385 Skeleton Chest Loot at 385 You get your artifacts from skeleton chest or raid randomly (Eris Morn Package may give you an artifact) You get ghosts from Fraction Rank ups and Raid randomly.

Go do Omnigul strike. Set to 320 Light difficulty. Msg 2 guardians right away about farming. Farm. Profit. You'll be 365 in no time....then the REAL grind begins...

I found out last night I could run the taken war strikes to level up with the two blues rewarded by the boss. I'm not sure how high my light level can get.

Edited by archarmonic: 9/26/2016 4:58:16 PMMost people I know have gone up 15-20 points just doing the strikes (capped at 365). Not sure why that wouldn't work for you. I literally got higher gear every single time, but only from the decrypted loot the boss dropped. Never the engrams.

Get a better primary special and gloves, all have to be around the same light(one out at most usually) to get better gear

It seems strikes is the only way to go ....or farm omni for faster results.you can farm her without raze lighters. I personally think the grind is a nightmare to rank up now.340-365 really blows.basically for me I had no choice but to farm omni just to keep up with all my buddies that also are farming her.

I've only done the farm once for about 30 minutes cuz it feels dirty to me but when we did it we didn't use raze lighters we had 3 hunters one tethered the othe two golden gun with celestial nighthawk and one or 2 gally rockets each. She went down stupid fast

Some things I have done I used legendary marks to buy gear from vendors. It all comes in at 350. Then I upgraded the factions with donations and bounties, and have done strikes. Public Event every day should net you at least one legendary engram. Save them until you reach at least 350. When decrypting purple or higher engrams equip all of your best gear then do them one at a time. If items is better infuse or equip then do the next one. Every little bit of light helps. To Properly farm Omnigul you need to set up your team. Don't count on Randoms to stay and farm. Some don't play that way.

3 RepliesHeroic strikes man. It's a slow grind and your chance for a helpful drop goes down as your level goes up but currently that's the best way to do it. I probably put in around 20 hours of strike grinding to get from 340 to 365
