Skeleton keys drop are extremly low
I've done 9 siva crisis mission in a row and didnt get not even 1 skeleton key ,actually nothing except blue engrams 1 legendary its just demotivating fustrating and spoil the fun.Feels like year 1 all over again ffs. Stupid treasure key Bs all over again.Fix it!!

1 ReplyYour not suppose to get keys easy they are a gateway to hitting 385 light w.o doing the raid lol. Like the rare crucible drops to hit 385 or legendaries they don't need to cater any more I like the few possible grinds now.

2 RepliesThe skeleton keys in theory are a great idea. Giving people a guaranteed chance at the strike loot they want was a great addition. BUT it wasn't an addition. It came with a subtraction - taking away the chance for the strike loot to drop on its own from the boss. Even worse, that problem is amplified by the fact that legendaries rarely drop from bosses now too along with 3oC unless someone is stupidly lucky, which it seems like the vast majority are not. Skeleton keys either need a higher drop rate (and not by a lot) and give a guaranteed each week per character for completing the nightfall, or they need to keep the drop rate the same and bring back the chance for the gear to drop on its own from the boss. Either of those ways would fix this predicament. All of this isn't people being needy or complaining. It's people voicing their displeasure with the whole BS RNG system that they stealthfully nerfed cleverly with the new skeleton key system. Just because these forums are toxic with people like you berating others with labels like "needy" or "crybabies" doesn't give you the right to tell someone else that their idea/opinion is stupid when yours is on the same playing field. If your opinion or idea is better, then by all means! Tell them they're wrong and present your idea.

1 ReplyI agree I farmed 6 keys took about 14 hrs all in siva heroic. I used all six keys on the undying mind for the imago loop and all six times all I got was the titan mark. WAY better odds the old way. It's sh*t like this that causes people to stop playing

Way to low. The content is drying up so fast they need a deterrent and this is one of them

Results from last night running the heroic strike playlist with vanguard booster (now a microtransaction): 14 strikes completed, 1 key, 4 legendary engrams, 1 exotic engram (used 3oC every strike). Legendary's decrypted at 365, exotic at 373, I'm 373 light. Ranked up vanguard, ranked up faction. Rewards packages gave me same light weapons & armor I already have. Basically a wasted evening as far as level grinding. Thanks bungie.

Yeah ive only gotten 1 from a drop so far with 30+ heroic strikes played oh well guess I'll just have to play more

Skeleton keys are a helpful think to let you choose your loot, you still get the strike w exclusives so stop complaining. They made your life easier

I agree. I have been grinding plenty of strikes for keys, both heroic and the 320 playlist, and I can say the drop rate is way too low. I just really want the devil's dawn sniper, but it is just not dropping for me. That's why I am trying to get keys, but they are such a struggle to get..

17 RepliesI wish I could down vote this thread a hundred times every time it pops up. This system is working as intended. It is better than the year 2 system - strictly. Don't complain because you can't level up fast enough, that's NOT why these keys/this gear exists. It is unique, cool looking gear. That's it.

also so everyone knows, the chest will give you strike specific gear. So if you want darkblade spite open the chest at the end of sunless cell etc.

I agree, but for some reason they been dropping alot for me now. To the point that I ran out of strike chest I want to open.

4 RepliesWorking as intended. Bungie won't always hold your hands. Skeleton keys are RNG based, just like 3 of coins. I get skeleton keys once every 4 or 5 strikes. Im okay with that because the game is based on grinding. Treat your keys like a prized possession until you want a certain loot from a certain strike. 👍👍
