matchmaking is the worst it's ever been
Been playing supremacy this week. It is apparently the NORM for matches to start with unfilled lobbies. It was a rare treat to have a 6v6 match from the start. Also, red-bar gods abound as usual. Why should I care what new gear I acquire in RoI if connections and team size are the only factors that matter in a match?

It is rare to get put into a match that is beginning unless you go in with a full fire team.

16 RepliesBungie thinks you just want pubstomp matches and that matchmaking is working as intended...so they intend for us to have laggy matches with 4 continents in at the same time. They will also ban you from the forums if you talk about regions that lag lobbies up for you saying it's racism. It's a disconnect from reality that they just seem to maintain as if it is sustainable. It is not and I don't have any friends that even play anymore. They just laugh at the thought of even considering purchasing destiny 2. Sad really I used to love this game.

9 RepliesSupremacy doesn't work too well for passive playstyles. Really screwed up most of the PvPers, they can't sit in their spawn with their sniper rifle and MIDA and win anymore, they actually have to come out and play now.

Connection is very important in this game mode because people are constantly on the move and most people are using one hit kill weapons.

I'm only playing supremacy to fill the book quota and the quest quota, and then I will probably never play supremacy again unless it becomes another quest or something. It's just not fun.

I haven't been having a problem with games not being filled up, at least that I've noticed. I have been experiencing crazy lag. Its way more apparent when you're trying to pick up crests than its been when you're just fighting. Activision should just suck it up and pay for Bungie to get dedicated servers for PvP.

4 RepliesMatchmaking in strikes is terrible too, can't tell you how many strikes I've completed this week as a two man fireteam for someone to join just before the boss dies.

I was a huge hater of mm last year.... I'm a huge striker, I do about 10-20 strikes daily. I got so sick last year of seeing people chanting their gear to low level stuff that they are trying to level up, that doesn't match the barn, AFTER they get match made with me. You see the thing is that they try to matchmake same level people. Some dicks realized this, and make sure they get matched with high level people, then they drop themselves down for some reason. Currently I don't have anyone at my light level on my friends list... And I don't like playing with filthy, unleveled, casuals. If I matchmake right now, I'll get matched with someone close to my partner and my light level (386).

Yeah Bungie has not impressed me with their matchmaking skills...or lack there of.
