Question about Rainbow Six Seige
Is it worth it? I can get it for about $35.
Does it have a decent single-player experience, or is it best to play with friends? I'd like to hear all input/opinions you have.

There is ZERO single player other than training to get a little bit of XP and Renown. The multiplayer though, is by far the best imo

7 RepliesThere is NO single player. There is SOMETHING but it's basically the same as a multiplayer match, but with AI instead of players, and you're by yourself. It only really acts as training for multiplayer. Multiplayer is good though if you have someone to play with. PS. I'm sometimes a team-shooter. :|

Definitely worth the $35 but I wouldn't get it for the single player experience as you only have terrorist hunts. The multiplayer is where it's at, never had so many adrenaline pumping moments in a game.

1 ReplyBuy it. It's a wonderful and fun multiplayer experience, especially with friends. Even if you don't have any friends to play the game with, I can guarantee you'll meet people. About half my friends list is just nice people I've met on Siege. Most of the community is pretty nice, minus the teamkillers and the whiny squeaker children.

If it's only $35 then it's definitely worth it and friends aren't something you would need but would obviously give you more enjoyment out of it.

4 RepliesThe game has been out for a while. It is mainly multiplayer and if you get it for the single player you'll burn out quickly. Ubisoft released a statement a few weeks back saying that it has more concurrent players now than it did when it first released. Usually multiplayer focused games dwindle away after time, but it seems Rainbow Six Siege continues to grow. I have about 200 hours in it, and it is a fantastic game. they support the game with free maps and operators periodically and continue to patch bugs and balance guns. The game is in it for the long haul and it's super addicting. And yes, playing with friends is the ideal way to play, but you can still have fun playing solo.

There's like 30 different operators that you can pick from attacking and defending. Gameplay is VERY realistic and satisfying. One thing I recommend, if you do get it, stick with it. It sucks playing with recruits but once you start unlocking the operators, it's addicting. One of my best purchases. If you're ps4, send me a request of you get it.
