Discipline stat does not affect recharge rate!
At least for my hunter, no matter how many nodes of discipline I have, it takes a full minute to charge my grenade. I was testing stuff in cosmodrome when I found this. I have finally re-achieved my tier 12 stat set again and I would like to utilize it to the fullest. I'm sure I am not the only person who likes to throw grenades.
Used frosty boots for vid so i could fit it in clip length. It is same without boots though.
Edit: Ok, due to a rude comment I investigated some more. I figured out the cause. Activating Frosty boot's effect breaks discipline until you orbit and reenter activity. Equipping different armor does not change that. This is why I was doing testing without Frosty and was getting same results.
TL;DR Bungie. please fix you're potentially great exotic, the FR0ST-EE5.

1 ReplyIt a bug thats been around for ages. If you put on an item of gear, or change a talent that lowers a recharge time, it bugs and doesn't apply the effect until your character loads again. Easiest way is to just die.

5 RepliesMust be a bug. On my warlock during my many runs of heroic strikes I had my grenade in 5 seconds and my discipline is maxed out (the grenades loads faster this week with one of the perks) but usually I have it very often.

Bump, I also noticed this on my warlock because no matter how much discipline I have my grenade takes forever to recharge during radiance.

I'm a warlock and might have the same issue, I noticed my melee seems to charge faster than my grenade (even though I have rank three in strength and rank two in discipline melee charges way faster than before) and I use the Heart of Praxic Fire and had before ROI (when it was fine). P.S. Then again maybe I'm just really bad at judging time differences and am just bad...

Boots are buggy. I noticed its slower in the heroic with catapult.
