The postmaster just deleted a legendary class item and a 370 raid rifle I received from a cache key chest. Thanks for dropping unmanageable amounts of garbage so I can't have what I want. On top of that the raid kicks you out after 2 minutes, so it wasn't even up to me to try and save it.
I'm unbelievably pissed about this new feature, please remove greens at least, what a joke.
edit for clarity: the 370 auto rifle never dropped in game as an engram or otherwise, I only know about it because it appeared alone in my postmaster at the bottom of DIM. To my knowledge it could only have come from the boss chest.

Delete your engrams as you play through the raid. Simple as that

Edited by Kone19ps: 9/27/2016 10:48:16 PMRaid goes to postmaster without dropping in game too? That is bullshit if it's true
-
I have never seen a green in my postmaster. They should set priority in the postmaster that when its full it bumps out blues before purples and purples before exotics. There's no way blue engrams should bump out purple or yellow drops. It's ridiculous and bad programming.
-
Go into the raid with no bonds, and make the space for your drops that you want. It's only warlocks that are getting bonds sent to the postmaster, and if you get a primary drop just delete a blue engram, it's just going to be a 340 anyway.
-
I like the greens they give materials but your right they shouldn't bump out exotics and legendary's so either they stack or the postmaster can hold infinite
-
After you reach a certain LL greens should just auto pick up as materials or parts instead. Make it an option in the settings for anyone that actually wants to keep them.
-
Yeah why did they increase the drop rate of greens? Every other thing I kill is dropping damn greens. It's a little much.

Edited by Bamboozlogician: 9/26/2016 4:52:42 PMHonestly, it's complete bullshit that we have gotten no new space in the postmaster or the vault after having dropped the older consoles. If I happen upon a decent group of random players in Archon's Forge, I shouldn't have to drop out when we've got a nice rhythm going because I'm worried (and rightly so) that my postmaster is about to delete some legendary drops because all of the slots on my character are chock full of engrams and the ground is still littered with them. The Archon's Forge and the fact that you can only carry one Siva Offering is enough of a pain in the ass on its own without this extra complication. Not to mention the complete idiocy of bungie suddenly deciding to spam my postmaster with completely useless green bonds which have forced the postmaster to delete legendary engrams or drops... Seriously, why is this a thing? It should never happen. Archon's Forge, strikes, and the raid drop a ton of engrams and making space for everything is unnecessarily painful. Why can't we just get more space, or a new inventory page for engrams, or a way to prioritize what the postmaster deletes, or to be able to grab things out of the postmaster via apps, or a separate place for legendaries, or activity-specific drops? Any fix will do, but the current system really is total bullshit.
-
Bump. To all the people saying, "just delete them as you go," there are literally too many to delete.
-
I joined you club
-
All the greens are a joke.
-
Or......since we've left legacy consoles in the past.....increase post master and vault space. AND AND AND......GIVE US A RAID KIOSK.....page for year one two and three armor and a page for year one two and three weapons.
-
This could help with greens or removing blues you don't want.
-
How the postmaster works atm is complete bullshit. I was farming Archons Forge today with 9 people and we all had to go back to the tower every 1.5 hours. Lost some legendaries along the way too.
-
Is it really too much to ask or too difficult just to open up your inventory and delete things or send them to your vault a few times while you are in the raid? IMO, no. You are a lazy whiner.
-
Engrams should stack at least.
-
Maybe they could possibly allow for any unobtained Raid Drops to go straight to Lord Saladin instead of the Postmaster. So when you go to him, you get the same screen as if you were decrypting engrams, but instead pick up your missed Raid stuff.

Edited by emsejay: 9/26/2016 11:03:10 AMIn my opinion the 9 slots for each item category should only be for gear that you want to carry with you all the time (eg your black spindle, shotgun, etc). Engrams just use up the space for no good reason. Engrams and all the stuff you collect should always go into your inventory tab (which in turn should be multi page). From the inventory tab you could then transfer items to their respective gear slots in your character tab or equip them directly. With engrams being stackable inventory management would be seamless and user friendly. Edit: And also give us the option to pick up green engrams directly as armor/weapon parts.
-
I'm pretty sure I lost my raid chest piece that way...
-
I can not for the life of me, never understand why the engrams don't have their own respective inventory slots and just stack accordingly.
-
Auto dismantle option on greens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FFFFFSSSSSSSSSSSSS
-
They should either stack up to 99 if they are the same type or increase the size 10 fold. With legacy consoles gone it shouldn't be an issue now
-
On the bright side you have a shit load of weopon parts
-
I feel your pain, losing hard earned gear is not a fun experience in anyway shape or form, stuff get moved to inventory alot and that can happen. To combat this however you can in the future make use of inventory managers like DIM and Tower Ghost to ensure that you always have enough space to store stuff. Tower Ghost comes with a farm mode that moves your blues to your vault so that it doesnt clog up your postmaster, and the postmaster doesnt save your greens. With a little planning this can be avoided in the future. I have also lost stuff like this but I realised that if I had made the necessary prep then this wouldnt be an issue. Also the greens serve as mat for the grind infusions in the game at the moment, if it gets removed then people will be stuck with leveliing up stuff
-
Just use DIM. You're welcome.

On the final boss fight in raid, i had so many green engrams that i had trouble finding special ammo lol
