I'd like to start by saying i don't blame anyone for exploiting the omnigul farm to power level on release of RoI. I myself power leveled by stocking up on heavy ammo. As it is an intended mechanic in the game I don't feel like I'm cheating myself or in general and am only spending strange coins (a lot of them) which I've earned putting countless hours (pathetic amounts) into grinding one of the greatest games I've ever played. (I've been a dedicated console gamer since The OG Nintendo and Sega days so that's saying something to me). Now to the point of the topic.. I feel as if this method is a blatant exploit of a long overlooked error in the way loot is intended to be from the strike. I doubt bungie planned for people spending 24 hours straight in a strike without even completing it while gathering top tier rewards. I think it's time we cut the cord on omni farm until the masses have exploited their way up to 365 instead of grinding strikes, factions, PoE, CoO, queens guard!! Hype!! And spending your hard earned materials like Bungie intended us to. And I think their way is the right way since they did indeed make this game which we love and play every day! Hopefully Bungie might see this and hot fix it if possible. ***Shout out to my raid squad today as we achieved worlds 38th (ish, possibly higher because the site had a few duplicates listed) which happened by just having fun, taking breaks for water and stretching, players lagging out and resetting the instance a few times and making new parties cuz psn duh. But we all equally contributed to a respectable finish for a raid launch and had a blast doing so. I honestly almost passed out when I screamed from excitement as we downed him in enraged with less than a second or two left before a wipe. Raid launch days are the best days.
