If you watch the clip I linked above you'll see a guardian on XB1 literally spinning in circles so that he doesn't get kicked from the strike. We joined while he was like this at the last boss. I can't imagine how upset the two people were that carried him that far. This is disgusting. We need a method to kick people like this from fire teams. It's not just this either. Too often do people sit around and do nothing but still get rewards in strike playlists.
Edit: For everyone saying its bad idea, obviously bungie wouldn't allow people to just kick others at the end of a strike. Certain conditions would have to be met. One easy one is if someone hasn't done any damage to something for X amount of time. Perfect solution to this guy.

People will abuse it. It's worse than having some random doing nothing. I just leave, shame about my streak..
-
O look last boss, 2 random decide to vote kick you.... Still like the idea?
-
It's just a strike two out of three can still usually complete it without problems if you're the only one doing anything just leave kicking would bring more harm than good
-
A vote to kick is a Good Idea. I'm sure people would abuse it though. But you'll have really bad luck if 3 or more groups kicked you.
-
Have you seen the kick and ban abuse in TF2?
-
I push search, have a walk down stairs and have a smoke and drink. Come back and my teams at the boss, it's like magic. Get over it.
-
I just push them off the map till I get bored

Edited by Barnabe377: 9/25/2016 7:56:40 PMGo in the menu and kick him... Did I misunderstand?
-
Just leave if afk player
-
-
A kick option could be abused, just leave if someone is afk, that's what I do
-
Easy fix- Implement a vote system for a kick like many other mmo's Destiny is much like an mmo and they wouldn't be straying from what they want in the game by adding this in. I usually have to talk to the other guardian in game and we leave so the third guy can go -blam!- himself when he doesn't wanna put any effort in.
-
I feel the pain because I've had this happen numerous times but a kick would ruin this game completly
-
Lol yeh the abuse
-
People would just abuse it. Instead, just leave the game.
-
But there already is mechanic that if you dont participate in Boss fight, you dont get rewards? O.o
-
Idea: Put the "points" system in the strike to determine the action you've made. Example: the more enemies you kill, the more points you'll earn/ the more SUPER you use, the more points you get. Toward at the end of the strike, the total points you've earned will increase the chance of getting legendary weapons/armor. That will strongly encourage anyone to get involve and start shooting more! Bungie?
-
Or removal from the strike after a minute not moving
-
You should be required to move in order to not get kicked. And by move I don't mean spin. You should actually have to move your character a certain distance per minutes or seconds or get kicked. I experience this same garbage this week while trying to grind strikes to get raid ready. With the arc burn modifier it made this BS even more annoying having to two man a strike.
-
my OH has been saying this for a while, a vote to kick option would be good. but then you have t rely on the other people not just kicking you because you're not using whatever they think is best. maybe a points system like others said? you gotta earn at least 50 points in the first half of the strike or something and if you don't and another player opens the vote to kick and you get voted out you're kicked and on a 10 min cool down
-
Dr. Grant says that's a very bad idea.
-
Kicking should be based on horizontal movement so if you go forward left back or straight you won't be kicked
-
They should make it so if the game detects idle behavior by a player for a couple minutes, it will give the other players the option to kick them
-
Horribly and irrevocably open to abuse. Vote with your feet and leave the strike.
-
People would just host jack, not a good idea. Just hit the forums and find a fire team or make some friends.

Lol butthurt much?
