The Year is (2631)...
The year is, [b]2631[/b].
Mankind has created wonders beyond dreams. Interstellar flight was founded, responsive armor was devised that could enable the wearer to withstand a barrage of lead and manipulated matter. Fusion rifles, could manipulate the elements at will and humans have harnessed immense magical powers.
The hive has broken the beckenstien limit, and the vex can warp across star systems in an instant. Cabal have ... well done nothing usefull to be honest, except for the giant hole on the dreadnaught...
Guardians have repulsed the darkness, destroyed the heart of a cognative mind and established a foothold on one of the most deadliest ships in known space.
So, my dear bungie I ask you...
Why is it that there isn't a single plastic surgeon in the year 2631? Why Can't guardians get spruced up in their down time? Why can't the Awoken go tanning, once in a while? Why can't Exo's get serviced?
I think it's about time character customisation made a re-appearence. Give us all the ability to grow mighty beards, and larger bust sizes! Give us the chubbier Titan, or the tallest Hunter in the world. Give us a Barber in the tower. Allow us the honour of looking good while we mop up the frets that exist within known space.
It's all good killing Oryx. But I'd rather look damn good doing it!

I'm surprised Bungie hasn't seen the money making potential in this; the 'Eververse Styling Saloon'. Get people to pay in Silver (thus real money) to remodel their characters. I would rather it be free, but games like ESO have done it now so why not Destiny? I like the way my characters look but there are some god ugly ones you see in the Tower, and there must be plenty more of them as most players characters must be so ugly cause they never remove their helmets Thumbs up for an original and interesting way to introduce the topic.

She's had that damn thing on for nearly 2 years and the smell is, well I'm sure you can imagine! My warlock looks like she's been fighting the darkness from behind a sheet of muck that's layered over her once exotic robes, my Guardians once looked fresh and shiny and something to look up to, now they look washed out and dated! I am in no way starting a 7th character just so I can change a couple bolt on antennas for my exo's beached scalp! C'mon Bungie, the least you could do is stick a vendor in near the speaker and make that side of the tower useful again! I'd happily pay 1k glimmer to spruce up my character to make myself feel better after slaying all those pesky foes in the prison while waiting for the new dlc to drop! Not only that but imagine the possibilities! A micro hunter! That would be epic! Or a seriously tanked up titan! The way they should be, huge! Or the slinky stylish, keeps their trimmed and styled beard in check while sporting the freshest afro in the galaxy warlock fighting the darkness from a distance with their void bitch slaps, hunters should look menacing considering they can teleport! They should look like the youth of our society that are always trying to prove something that hang around on dark Street corners at night with their hoods up and uneasy demeanour, Xür has got the right idea, he's gotta be the most shady looking mofo I've seen! Anyway the point is, Bungie, the people want the option to change their appearance without loosing 100's of hours of levelling up and unlocking things just to do so, surely this is something you guys can implement, don't want to point fingers or give examples but I will, Halo Reach, possibly the best game you guys did where customisation is concerned, could change everything and still play all game modes etc, i think this is something that could easily be added to the game and would have a 100% success rate as All of the community would he beyond great full. I would love to change my characters race and sex without having to do everything all over again. People have wanted this as long as they've wanted private matches.
