Hey Guardians, I was just wondering if this has always been a thing as I have only just noticed it, when headshoting a cabal legionary and he falls to the floor after black goo or blood spills out onto the floor, it probably isn't new but it just caught my eye as I'm playing now lol I do have a photo but I don't know how to post them through this app.

Hi, I was looking at the cabal's body (2021) Its possibly a mixture of blood and the pressurization oil. Due to the fact that in the mouths of the dead depressurized cabal, that there is black blood out the mouth, and also some being pushed out the eyes it seems.
-
Its actually oil from their armor
-
It's been there since day 1 just got made prettier as time went on
-
They did something I think to the graphics... There is that grain problem but certain lighting effects seem more vibrant to me. Head shot the taken, seems more vibrant.
-
Everything has their headshot animations. Fallen have Ether Hive erupt into ash Vex blow up in their Radiolarian Milk And Cabal have their black blood
And Dregs have this... https://youtu.be/4paRnoDz0rA
See what you don't know about the Cabal is that they are actually a very militarized species of space squid.
-
Yes, they always spilled the black goo.
-
The "black goo" isn't blood. The goo is a fluid between their armor and their actual bodies that keeps our gravity from crushing their bodies like melons.
-
Not blood. It's a liquid in their suits. It's not clear if they breath it like fish do with water or if it's used to pressurize their suits. They do come from a higher pressure/gravity world than we do after all.

Not new
-
Def not blood. I think it's what powers their life support
-
Nah it's not new, obviously they can't breathe without the helmets and I think that you shoot the head off and the oil or black blood comes shooting out of their suit or body.

Not new

It isn't new. It's also in the Grimoire that they need pressurized suits using oil to help them survive or something in other atmospheres. That oil is what spews out when getting precision kills.

It's not new
-
This has always happened.
-
Not new.

No it's not.
