Moderation
I don't know how to start this post, but I would like to say that for the most part, the moderation team does very well, but lately, I myself, as well as many others have been harassed for discussing new ides for the game, as well as many other topics.
However, I believe that even if you report most of these people, proper action is never taken against them, as with the case of a certain user I've been harassed by recently. Would it be possible, if there is time, to form a larger moderation team? I really like to discuss new ideas and suggestions, but as soon as someone says something different, they are relentlessly harassed for stating an unpopular idea, this is not fair to the said user.
Among these disrespectful posts is people stating that they are ''superior'' and the other person is ''incompetent'' or needs to kys themselves. I believe that if there were a larger moderation team, these forums could be a better place.
If you read through this, then I thank you for your time, and feel free to suggest new ides to prevent this kind of negativity. Hopefully Bungie sees this.

Using these forums is good, but if things get frustrating here why not try posting in the destiny sub reddit, I find people that go there are a lot more willing to actually have a discussion. I find most official forums to be too toxic at times and when they get too toxic on particular topic I always check alternative sources for the discussion.

4 RepliesIt's really an area of forum moderation that fails completely. People can harass you daily on here, but when you report them their posts might not cross the line to banable as a single post, but when it's the 100th or 200th time they've said it as they relentlessly follow you around, it crosses the line to harassment. The problem is that there's no way for the moderators to see that pattern or anything other than the one reported comment at a time. Unfortunately for a lot of what is great about Bnet in our ability to discuss topics as opposed to Reddit where hot button topics are off limits, bnet also really protects the chronic harassers and punishes their victims. The only recourse Bungie gives harassment victims is to report, which does nothing and to mute. The problem with muting is that the harassment doesn't stop. They're still able to talk shit about you daily to everyone else including your friends and beyond that the mute function has never fully worked on the app, so you still have to read most of their shit talk. It sucks that you're being harassed, but I'm really glad you posted this because it's comforting to know that other people feel the same that there is a real problem on here and to not be alone in dealing with the daily bullshit. I've been relentlessly targeted by a group for a year and now my friends are too and I was contemplating posting earlier today about this but again, is it worth it and the shit that will come down the pike from the trolls? But reading this, yes it is because others are affected too. [b]What I want to see on Bnet is not just the halfassed ability to mute, I believe these forums should have a full block feature.[/b] If someone or a group of someone's are following myself or others every place we post every single day, we should be able to completely block them from responding directly to us and completely in threads we create. There is nothing that guarantees not only free speech, but freedom to harass on a private forum and it's time Bungie start making this a less menacing place for its users who are victims of abuse on here for any reasons. I've been on the receiving end of some nasty posts as well. I just tend to ignore them for the most part. The longer I stay in the forums, the thicker my skin gets and the less it bothers me. I hope it doesn't sour you from posting here, there's quite alot more decent people here than not.

I agree, this place should be much more strictly moderated. I'm not sure they have enough moderators.

Their advice is to copy the link with the specific harassment and keep it stacking to forward as they accumulate. Report each one as it happens. When you get more links with harrassment, forward those specific links and send those via pm to the moderators. This is what they recommend. Sorry you're having these issues. Hopefully with these recommendations they can act on serial abusers
