The fact that a multi-billion dollar corporation like EA can not support its servers for yet another one of its huge releases is pathetic. Whether this is a DDOS attack or an influx of players, their sheer inability to have stable functioning servers for even a simple beta test is pretty embarrassing. Excuses such as developers adjusting to current gen hardware and a boost in the playerbase really don't work anymore because they've already been used. They've suffered DDOS attacks before, so why don't they have better protection? They've dealt with a massive influx of players crashing their servers before, so why haven't they upgraded their servers? Considering EA is a multi-billion dollar corporation, they have no excuse for the sheer level of incompetence they've shown with the server issues they're suffering.
