Why do you make it harder for people that pay for good internet
Why don't you do something about red bar gods. If y'all would play the game you would understand the frustration.. pass that on to the developers. It is ridiculous shit like this is why I won't buy this game on ps4. Pass that on to the developers.

I upgraded my Internet from 56 mps to 146 mps and I'm paying $25 more to my Internet provider all for this blaming game and I swear it's worse now than it was before. It boggles my mind that trailer park Internet connections make people that aren't as skilled become bullet sponge gods. If this game had dedicated servers it would be epic

It's not bungie per say. I mean, they did decide to have p2p connections like modern warfare 1.. That's definitely part of it. But now this sbmm has made things worse. I am constantly matched against foreigners with horrible connections, why? Because their horrible connection allows them to do better in pvp. Wonder why you see so many foreign Hispanics going flawless? Mexico and other third world countries don't offer the internet speeds we do. Or they have 10 brothers and sisters and their internet is bogged down by wireless devices. Connecting to the UK can also sometimes be horrible, but I'm sure it's horrible for them too. The issues at hand are sbmm and p2p. If bungie for destiny 2 had dedicated servers(unlikely) and went back to cbmm, this would fix a lot. But ultimately it comes down to what the streamers want. Streamer dong is so far down bungie's throat at this point idk if recovery is even an option. I hope that bungie does come to their senses and does address this in the correct way, but history says otherwise. Here's some tips to even the playing field against laggers. -play a movie on your iPad while you play -have family members stream Netflix -don't directly connect, run wifi, makes you laggier -play rumble, less players, less lag -let your baby cousin play for a week, kill kd -play a game that the devs actually care about

19 RepliesAssuming people choose to not pay for good Internet or can't afford it just makes you ignorant. Not everywhere in the world has access to fast internet... Myself for example. I pay more for my on average 1.2mb download speed which is the best my area provides at present than friends of mine pay for 100mb connections. I can and will get better internet when people pull their fingers out and make it available but until then i have no say in my speed. Take your argument up with the govenments that refuse to upgrade internet not the people that have no control over it.

You literally need about McDonald's wifi to run this game. The speed is not the issue. The latency is. You're not paying for lower latency.

1 ReplyPing, latency, packet loss, the list goes on. Check the minimum requirements for destiny. The only advantage you really get with high speed is the ability to use it in your household while playing games. That means someone can be streamin, someone on facebook and you wouldn't experience any lag. Thats the plus. Thats it. It doesnt give you an advantage besides a higher chance of HOSTING the game.

17 RepliesNot everyone as access to high speed Internet where they live. The game is rated T meaning teenagers and older. Millions of teenagers play the game. They gt to school and not old enough to work. These teenagers have parents who probably don't care about gaming or the internet speed. Considering half of the community are kids who live with parents I highly doubt bungie would get ban them. Also many adults have to live in areas where the internet is not great. They live there because it's probably ideal for real life priority like working. They paid for the game. They pay for broadband so they're fully entitled to play the game. Yes red bars are annoying. Get use to it though. Even with dedicated servers you'll still get red bars

What system are you on. I'm on an old gen and dude, I'm so sick of red bar champions. I have had ppl tell me that's it's not near as bad on xbox1 or ps4.

Agreed, but like the comment below your ISP will give 2 shits about it. Along with Bungie which is has one last ripoff before Destiny 2. They have no one working on this game anymore.
