Is anyone else avoiding Three of Coins in RoI?
Most of my endgame in year 1 was trying to get all the exotics. It took 6 months. In year 2, it took a bit over a month and that's because you could only get first curse so soon. So, for year 3, I'm dismantling any 3oC I happen to have so I can play the game I want again

4 Replies3oC needs to be taken out of the game. Can't we just go back to Y1 when nightfall was fun because it mattered. When you really had to grind out strikes for that 1 new piece of gear. When you had a blast in cbmm with your friends to grind rep for packages. 3oC is like a participation trophy for the last place kid so he doesn't go home and cry. Which, sadly, is a good portion of this community.

nope, I will be using them as I did in year 2.. exotics arn't really that exciting anymore, far better legendaries out there to use. I will collect them and place them in the vault.

Edited by Devasstator: 8/31/2016 7:02:42 PMI will use them because if I'm chasing the exotics (since there isn't much beyond max light in end game) I would rather have them all and leave until new stuff is out then grind stale/boring content for months bitching about being bored. Destiny has turned into a more casual experience and if that's the direction, it should be consistent in it.

2 RepliesThe only time i use them is when a heroic strike comes up that has a strike specific reward. Im not sure if im right but i've heard using a 3oc gives a boost to your chance of a drop.

You'll be spending a good 4 years trying to get new exotics with how they ruined the drop rate All my kf completions and only one exotic from it

3oC only ruined the game for people who exploit the game alongside 3oC. Simply increasing my chances while I play normally isn't the problem. You ruined the game for yourself.

2 RepliesI have about 50 left from TTK farming though I'm not convinced there are going to be too many non-task oriented exotics. Do we even know for sure if 3oC are even being brought forward to RoI and not being locked into just TTK DLC?

If you exploited the shit out of the coins then bravo, but I get maybe 1 for every ten coins, there was a time I drained 40 coins (one at a time) and only got 1 exotic. Maybe your lucky.
