Destiny Subclasses: Top Tier Builds

Hey guys Pyro with another subclass guide. This time I will be sharing my build for the Stormcaller, my main subclass. Honestly, Stormcaller, in my opinion, is one of the top subclasses in the game. Please note that this build is strictly my opinion, but feel free to leave your recommendations in the comments below because I would love to try out some of your ideas for builds. With that said, let's get into it!! P.S. Sorry this guide is late. Will be posting first Titan build as well today. Grenades: Storm Grenade or Arcbolt Grenade. This for me is dependent on game type. Objective based game modes I love Storm Grenade for the AoE damage, but for other occasions I prefer Arcbolts for its reliability. Glide: Focused Burst. This is obvious. Warlock is the slowest class, so this glide allows you to travel faster than normal. Stormtrance: Ionic Blink. The main problem with the Stormcaller super is mobility, so Ionic Blink makes it harder for enemies to damage you. Plus, it makes it harder for opponents to snipe you out of your super. Melee: Amplitude. There is no other option to pick here. With this perk you have the longest ranged melee, allowing you to stay farther from enemies trying to shotgun you. Combined with a max ranged shotgun and you can pull off deadly shotgun-melee combos. Passive Perk 1: Pulsewave or Transcendence. Personally I choose Pulsewave because it's basically Underdog build into the subclass. Increased movement speed and weapon handling is always beneficial. Although Transcendence extends your super duration, it limits your use of your grenade, which I could live with, and your melee, the most iconic thing about the Stromcaller. However, there are ways to work around this as I'll explain later. Passive Perk 2: Electrostatic Mind. Personally, I run Electrostatic Mind in team play and Perpetual Charge in rumble because Electrostatic Mind isn't necessary. Arc web is great, giving storm grenades the ability to kill with other near by guardians, but it is only effective if the guardians are a certain distance from each other. Perpetual Charge is straight forward. I like having my abilities on hand at all times and this makes it a bit easier to do so. However, I find it best effective when your not playing with a team because of how powerful Electrostatic Mind is. Reduced super cool down when nearby allies is too good to pass up, as Electrostatic Mind can cut your super recharge time to under 3 minutes when near 3+ allies and max intellect. Now for the exotics. The absolute best exotic for the Stormcaller is the Claws of Ahamkara because having 2 extra long range melees is just too good an offer to pass up. Other options would be The Impossible Machines for Landfall and Ionic Blink, The Ram for increased armor while in Stormtrance, and the Voidfang Vestments for grenade recharge. However, the only reason I recommend Voidfang is because it allows you to run a 5/1/5 build and not have to worry about you grenade cool down, which means you can take more advantage of Transcendence. Personally, I still prefer Claws. That concludes this guide. Next up I will start on the Titan subclasses. Just know that if anything sounds pretty dumb in these next three builds, it's because I have little experience playing Titan. With that said, I would really appreciate any comments you have once I post the Titan builds. Catch you guys later.
