So I stopped playing this game on the 360 but indeed have the taken king and performed the raid multiple times. I was under the impression the only requirement needed for this was to own the taken king on the 360. Am I right? Moving forward, I have no option to purchase Destiny The Collection Upgrade. I went out today and spent 10 dollars on a used copy of Destiny in hopes that performing the Account Import would allow me access to purchase the 40 dollar version. It downloaded all previous DLC except TTK and I still can NOT purchase DTC Upgrade. Am I missing something here? I'd like an official response from Bungie to avoid any confusion. What's going on?
Thanks, Rott

On the Xbox One store it says the collection upgrade is a special offer for Xbox 360 TTK owners. The store also says that the upgrade comes with the base game as well as all the DLC for the game . (Including RoI). Additionally, the store says the upgrade will be available for purchase on September 19, 2016

for what i read bungie try to say that you need a vanilla destiny for ps4 or xbox one for the upgrade or a digital copy but that copy must be on your ps4 or xbox one not on your legacy console bungie should had make a video about this, is very confusing for some players the way they explain it.

TTK doesn't transfer from 360-xbone or ps3-ps4. You'll have to buy TTK on the xbone.

The import just brings over your character data, not what you purchased on the older consoles. You'll still need to purchase the game and TTK to get it on your new console (the first two expansions transfer for free, though, as you know).
