What exactly is the point of an exotic class item?
I have a question about the exotic class item. What’s the advantage of it? Getting stuff from the factions faster, right? But also?
I’m assuming because you can just change the stats on it if you really need to because it’s exotic, and therefore use glass needles, right?
However, now that I’m 25 on DO, isn’t it kind of useless to work on a new faction (other than collection and faction specific item rewards)? I won’t be getting the faction gains for another with a DO bond right?
So I would be getting faction ranks at the same rate it took me to get there for another faction. With Rise of Iron boosting the light level, I’m assuming faction packages base light will go up anyway, right?
So I would want to stick with Dead Orbit for a little while before starting a new one, correct?

I've had the NM mark for a while. I working on the DO one because why not. I'll probably try to get all three before RoI comes out. I don't have much else to work for right now. I got the necro, and the was the last major accomplishment on my list.
