Wassup Guardians, I have been thinking about the new light level and the raid. I heard a comment from Bunjie basically stating that the new raid is mainly concentrating on how hard its gonna be depending on the guardians light level. So in other words instead of being more technical like the kings fall raid and no matter what light level you were there was still a chance of wiping because the technical parts of it never got really easy. I don't have a problem with this part but looking at the new light level I don't see how there gonna manage to do that based on how light levels works unless its gonna be really easy to get to max light.(which is bad) Here is the problem I can see. my characters are at 335 and the normal mode raid gear will drop at 385 max. we was able to do the normal raid at 290 for Kings fall and the max gear you could get for that normal mode raid was 310 which is 20 light difference. so if it works out the same then all i need to do before i am raid ready is get to 365 because that will only leave a 20 light gap. All I need to get to is 365 a 30 light difference which is nothing for an expansion like this. I will be raid ready in no time and if I get enough gear from the raid to to get to 380 or 385 then the maximum light you can get from the hard mode raid is 400 which is only an extra 15 light. I don't understand at which point your gonna feel like a master at it because you understand how to do it and light level will matter a lot and you have to consider that in this current light level system it takes around 10-15 light before there is a real difference when facing enemies. but the this may have bigger implications for the longevity of the game. I am not hating on the expansion i am looking froward to it, I just wanna know what others think about this. Peace!!!
