Modifiers
[b]Epic [/b]- Heavily shielded and highly aggressive enemies appear in great numbers.
[b]Void Burn[/b] - Void damage from any source is greatly increased.
[b]Berserk [/b]- Minions of the Darkness won't flinch, even after massive damage.
[b]Specialist [/b]- Special Weapon damage is favored.
[b]Juggler [/b]- No ammo drops for your equipped weapon.

Sorry for being a bit late for this post! But it's been a while since we had this nightfall! Thank you Bungie! Alright, it's time to get some loops. WITH TELESTO THE BESTO. It's void burn. Just take caution with all your fights. The first phase can be taken or vex. Don't get close to minotaurs at all! So just play caution with a void sniper or Telesto! The boss outputs [b]void[/b] damage. Post your Imago Loop farm strategies and rolls here! See what we get!
With Vortex on a Voidwalker, you can use it as a substitute for Dragon's Breath this week, kill yourself with it, and the vortex should kill the boss.
What my team did was we used bubbles [i]without[/i] illuminated.
Void Sniper (1KYS)
1 person shoots 6 crits 1 Body
2 people shoot 5 crits 1 Body
Then a person kills with Dragon's Breath.
Worked 95% of the time.
Total 16 crits 3 body. Puts it to a perfect amount for Dragon's Breath.

I don't feel the need to explain this shit two -blam!-ing years into Destiny especially to those who feel the need to solely use their Primaries throughout the entire Strike, mismatching Subclasses, Arc and Solar weapons etc. If you are not matching a subclass with a Burn modifier at least use one of the support subclasses not -blam!-ing Gunslinger, Bladedancer, Striker, Sunbreaker and Stormcaller!!!!!!!!!! Two of the god damn support subclasses are bloody Void ffs!!!!! What the -blam!- is a Kinetic Primary or Arc/Solar Special or Heavy going to do against Minotaurs who have "one-shotted" you for the 10th time? Why are you continually standing out in the open spamming your shitty primary when the Descendants spawn in? Why are you tickling the Undying Mind with your Primary and in the process over indulging in DPS to account for damage loss (Specialist) then inevitably dying to the Boss/Ads? I had the worst NF experience on my Warlock moments ago, it was absolutely disgraceful what I witnessed. I was actually forced into kicking two players for the first time ever in my two years of Destiny. Then two new guys joined up which were no better but managed to pull through. And yes, the boss does Void damage.

PSA For the grinders! Pack a sword. You can sword swipe right through the force field on the area with all of the yellow bars and the big eye blaster! I go right, and start swiping as soon as I'm about where the barrier will form, then I run like hell to the left to where I can snipe the eye blaster in safety. Play around with it, you will find a routine

2 RepliesWorst possible burn for this strike. Some genius dcided to make the obvious solar barrages from the Mind apply void burn. Downs you in two hits, don't stay in the open or next to walls. With all the Minotaurs and void Hobgoblins, you have to pray no one flanks you while the Mind denies any movement and you're busy killing stuff. I made it with the Truth and 1k Stare. Voidwalker with Axiom and RAM. Axioms let you stay in cover and RAM saves your life more than once. Tried Nothing Manacles, sucks. After my heroic fight, I got rewarded with yet another titan mark on my Warlock. FUN FACT! one year after Taken King launched, I have yet to get one single Imago with Firefly. A weapon that I already had (Fatebringer) and that I would have gladly removed arc element from if that meant keeping the gun. F*CK Lukems and his arrogant rambling about elemental primaries. F*CK Bungie and their stupid grind for stuff you already grinded for once.

My first run I got a Loop with TrueSight/SureShot sights, Rangefinder, Hammer Forged/Small Bore/Will of Light/ and... FIREFLY!! I'd give it a solid 9.3 out of 10 for what I was looking for in a PvE roll (a 10 would have been with Reinforced Barrel). I don't care about Outlaw (use gloves) and already have god roll Lunas for PvP.

5 RepliesEdited by TheLoneHunter: 8/24/2016 3:24:23 PMThis was so easy last night. Farmed for like 5 hours, Got one with outlaw/rifled barrel/spray and play. We run with 2 hunters and a titan. This only comes into play at stairs and boss. And only stairs if it is the crap ton of yellow bar vex vex. And for yellow bar vex we used [armory]Dark-Drinker[/armory] For starters just run armor, cause seriously, you wont need weapons if you have tether and void snipers for boss. If the stairs is vex, run in around the the wall once at the top of the stairs and quickly pop armor bubble and a tether. You will want to spam tether so you can keep popping bubbles to keep moving forward. You here bubble drop, move forward some and pop the next one. as long as you stay in the bubble and keep spinning that dark drinker you will kill everything really fast. For the boss i would say just youtube the undying mind farming glitch. The wipe doesnt work anymore but the bubble strategy does. my team and i got them down to about 7 min a run. Good luck on you perfect imago guardians. P.s. Hey Nike, how are you linking armory items like that so they pop up with the stats and such?? nvm Edit: Apparently my fireteam and i were doing the killing the boss and wipe wrong. Will try again later to see if this still works.

5 RepliesIf anyone is whining about how they don't have a void high impact sniper the vanguard Qm is selling a void 1000 yard stare rn and so what I recommend if u r trying to farm imago loop is using telesto till u get to the boss then if u have a Titan (u NEED a Titan) go to the back of the arena and put on blessing take out that high impact sniper of urs that u just bought and skrew the boss so quick if u don't have a defender Titan it's really hard bcuz so much stuff in that room shoots void including the boos and goblins and some of the hobgoblins and the Minotaurs
