My most important rules.
1. DON'T GET PICKED!! Two things will happen here.
a) One or two snipers will be hard scoping you and when your mate try's to revive you he gets picked. Now at this point two orbs next to each other are now hard scoped.
b) One sniper will be hard scoping as two guys rush in.
2. Be unpredictable. Don't go to the same spot to snipe or rush every round.
3. Avoid flanking their spawn unless it's 2v3. If you try to flank and you die they can easily sit on your orb. Now your two mates won't be able to get you because you tried to flank and you failed. So for the whole round it stays 2v3.
4. Be confident. Be smart.
5. Don't let the previous sweaty match get to you.
6. Have fun with the game.
7. Team shoot. Which means stay together and fight together.
8. COMMUNICATE and listen for call outs!

How to go Flawless: Use Thorn. Actually I have no idea, haven't played Trials since Year 1 and Thorn carried me to the lighthouse all three times. Is it really that sweaty now?

Edited by Skyrender6: 8/23/2016 11:57:28 PMGood post! I've been having such a hard time with Trials this year... I was able to make regular visits to the lighthouse in Y1 but now every team I encounter (especially the second!) is always way more skilled than I am. I've always been able to hold my own as an average player in crucible, and in some match types, like salvage, I'm actually pretty decent. My problem is that I don't think I have a good time-to-kill ratio and I tend to get outgunned in one-on-one encounters. Do you have any tips for that? I mean, other than "git gud". :-P

I would have to agree

Edited by Stealth Nine: 8/24/2016 12:53:51 AMSafest way to Win Step 1: Equip Tier1 Load out
Primary: High-Impact Sniper (1000-Yard, Dankbow Synthesis) Secondary: TLW (You don't want to be punished for someone closing the distance do you?) Heavy: Rocket, preferably with proximity (why use a MG and have to expose yourself when you can fire and forget lol)
Step 2:
Try and get angles while staying as far back as possible using your primary, remember your primary is a long distance weapon
But you can use it inside unintended ranges but you didn't hear it from me ;-)

Step 3:
after you get a pick bum rush the hell out the orb with your secondary
Step 4:
Repeat until all enemy players are eliminated
Note:
If you start getting shot by anything other than another primary (sniper) try and challenge one time since flinch doesn't exist on snipers even if they try to equip HC rounds (they don't work lol)

Should you find yourself the last guardian against other players using these tactics:
Dance & Die

Edited by DarkKnightCN: 8/22/2016 7:34:55 PM777 - Use 3 blades with tarantella so you can start spamming blades every round after first round , dont forget to spam that 15 sec skip nades too lol

Na. I'm opening a small business so ... I'll let them have that I got money to make
-
I would pay to get to the lighthouse, that's how much I want to get there and how sick of trying I am.
-
I don't agree with step 3. Sometimes spawn flipping is your best bet.

Im looking for a fireteam as good as me! 2.0 kd and 1700+ Elo just to hit up trials every weekend
-
How to trials: 1. Pay streamer 2. Profit
THIS IS A JOKE!!!!! COMPLETELY SATIRE!!!!! Do not take this seriously
-
Na. Only need 1 rule. 1. Defeat the opposite team. Am I posting because I'm a god? No. But advice from a 1.71 kd that set at 2,200 elo for over a month is good advice to me (: Let the salt pour in!

How to win at Trials: Legit ways: 1. Git gud 2. Play with a fireteam that clicks 3. Ask a friend to carry you 4. Win a raffle! at a streamer's channel Shameful ways: 1. Donate to a streamer for a carry 2. Pay for a carry Illegal ways: 1. Use UDP Unicorn or Net Tools 5 to become a red bar warrior 2. Install CronusMax 3. Install TitanOne 4. Stress the IP of opposing fireteam players

Oh shit time to put our ears up and listen to the the 1.1 with the scarab
-
How to win at Trials: Play against my team. The end.
-
Nope. Not when your going up against a team of people who go flawless everyday. Not when you go against people who have 1000s of hours logged. Trials sucks.
-
Best of all.....
GIT GUD
I'm far from some pro but here are my general tips: disrupt the static sniper formations, get them moving, even just firing a missed shot in their direction can get them distracted, giving one of your teammates an opportunity to take advantage, always pinch, always flank, always push up, but also know when to run away and back off.
-
These tips are so general you might as well say, if you kill the enemy team you win. In order to help people improve you need to give specific tips with specific examples and explain to them how it applies to their playing
-
My favourite is when someone gets sniped and they rage and yell wow -blam!-ing snipers or they yell wooooow lag. Than I proceed to get sniped. Ok cool thanks for telling me where he was
-
Communication is key. When I play with my regular trials squad, it's non stop call outs which leads to team firing. I notice a lot of casual players when they die they just start complaining about BS and what not instead of calling out. Don't ever do that. I win 80% of my trials games and average a 2.0. Trust me, call outs are a key if you want to improve your game.

Thanks for the tips. Cookie?🍪

Op gives 100% usefull advice and still gets shitheads hating lol Listen, this might be blatantly obvious to you ballers, but for your average joe crucible (me) solid tips like this are very usefull.
-
I hate when someone on my team dies and says nothing. I shouldn't have to ask where the enemy is to help you. Tell me whatever you can so we can recover!
-
Man I wana play trials so bad, but I hate the idea of scouring the forums to find a couple of guys chill enough to do it for shits and giggles. Can't be arsed with this raffle/streamer/carry business.

*Gets first flawless after two years. *Informs everyone else of his top secret ways to success.

The much simpler way
1.use a sniper

2.dont miss the headshot

wish I could do that
