2nd tech test will the Titans have the swords?

Um, no, it's a Pre-Alpha Tech Test. Not even close to a Beta yet.

It's a nice game for people who don't judge books by their cover before playing the game. The game is fairly causal yet you can take it to competitive levels if you so desire. Some weapons and abilities are due for buffs and nerfs. Mainly the R-201 as its just the best gun there is just like the first game (although the snark-pistol and hemlock were good as well). I'm glad to see they buffed the CAR as I use it on Boomtown very efficiently and use R-201 on Homestead. Having to earn your Titan is something that is debatable. You can grind on the PvE stuff to get your Titans quicker than killing pilots, it just require you to (holy shit are you ready for this?) play the objective (crazy right?). At least this goes for Bounty Hunt which is the most popular playlist. But I have a hard time arguing that having to earn your Titan is a bad thing considering I can rack up more than enough kills to get a couple of Titans in a single match. I'm reading comments about the game feeling like CoD and being heavier and slower, and I'm barely seeing their opinion. As a serious CoD hater, if any game even remotely felt like CoD I would dislike it. I guess nowadays if it's an FPS it's like CoD. People said this about Destiny in its first release, just in space... I find long range TTK very increased honestly. In CCQ, guns like R-201 and CAR will shred, unlike how in T1 the carbine would smoke you from across the map. Titan mobility nerf was a bummer though. Same with no shield regen. Half of the fun of Titanfall was being able to survive a 2/3v1 because you could play safe and let your shield regen. Now, it's "I have more health then you, I win". Unless that is someone has their laser core or scorch ability (I'm only familiar with Ion's names). Let the cores restore our health, but give us our shields for more survivability. With abilities, at time the grapple feels slow and clunky, at times its randomly slows down and when releasing to fly through the air, your momentum just suddenly vanishes? Cloak, based off of what I've seem, it's unfair. The cloak in T1 made you invisible to Titans but pilots could more or less easily see you as you made the backdrop behind you brighter. In this tech-test, the cloak is now difficult to see at even close quarters and can be even mistaken as a shadow at times (which is an awesome cloak!). BUT, shooting this cloaked pilot or even the pilot shooting you, does not uncloak them, which to me makes unfair gunfights. If a cloaked pilot turns a corner on you, do not engage them. You will not see them before they see you. I believe that shooting a cloaked pilot should uncloak them, reward the player for detecting the cloaked pilot. These are just my major gripes with the game. I'm currently a Level 10 Pilot and have given most of the weapons a try. Given the titans a fair try as well.

Am I missing something.... where's the anti pilot abilities on the titans.... Spent a chunk of time working hard points to get a Titan at least a few minutes before game end and got immedietly rodeo'd and had the sudden realization I had no defensive abilities like electric smoke to use. I looked and neither titan has it in any of the available abilities locked or unlocked... I hope they didn't remove it... I know rodeo requires hacking now but I don't like feeling defenseless in a 20 foot war machine... Other than that he's ttk is faster, feels almost like cod hardcore but not that extreme. Lag is present, I've died after getting behind cover and in one on one's where I shot first... grappling is neat but would be better if you could grapple into a tian rodeo... maybe you can but when I tried he didn't really attach and the Titan backed up and shot me. Also miss npcs, if this is a stress test it doesn't make sense not having then unless the will be in the next round. As is its usually titans right before game over.

Love it. Was a big fan of the original and this just builds on it. Definitely picking this up within the first week of launch

Played a couple of games and uninstalled it again. Yet another small scale shooter. I was hoping they would put in larger battles but it's still small boring teams.

I just really hope grunts and spectres continue to play a big role in the multiplayer combat. Loved the OG Titanfall.
