It tells me.
I stood there as I have before, looking into the deep. The dark which does not sleep, it tells me things. Old things that existed long ago, how humanity had a golden age but it was swept away. Taken in and swallowed into the nothing.
It tells me of a race that traveled across the stars, looking for the ones they call gods.
It tells me of the war that happened,that stars fell apart. That the winds no longer existed and the planets were shattered like glass.
Oh how do It remember everything that has happened, it told me I was the last human. Cut off from the universe, they died trying to save me. They could of let me die but they didn't.
The deep knows what will happen, can happen and won't happen. As if it can see the future, all out comes and pick one that does happen or one that does not.
It is beyond our understanding, it will out last all of us but one day. It will be killed by the one it fears.
The one it tells these things to.
