[i]The ammo regen will be comparable to ammo regenerated though the partial refund system which is around 1/3 a magazine by my information, so it would regen around 5 rounds to the reserve during a grenade kill, this can be further adjusted in reference to grenade multikills, in that the first grenade kill generates 5 rounds, and any other grenade kill for 8 seconds after words generates only 1 round(i beleive the longest a grenade stays out is the sunsingers solar grenade with sunbreaker perks and i think that lasta around 8 seconds)[/i]

i was think this could be a AWESOME end of raid exotic, putting it in the same weight class as vex, and sleeper simulant. in terms of the design, i want it to have a streamlined, sleek look of the F-117 Nighthawk, but with a focus on pentagonal shapes instead of triangles, it would also have a huge skeleton magazine attached to it (so you can see the significantly larger rounds this thing is gonna be shooting), not a belt like current LMGS. and yes, black metal and low red highlight with a a single war mind emblem (anyone know if Charlemagne ever had his symbol revealed?) place somewhere prominently, and since ALL exotics have their own unique scope, the ADS scope i want for this is a partial face mask (similar to a german Panzerschreck) it will obscure the HELL out of the players point of view, and the actual reticle would be something similar to image i linked.
a special affect would be te barral turning red hot after only a few shots.
so what do you guys think?

It sounds like it would be a cool weapon, but I don't think it would be as useful as Thunderlord, and may even be beaten by Super Good Advice. The idea of having ability kills redil the weapons ammo a little seems like it would be a cool idea, but would be completely useless against raid bosses, especially when you consider SGA could in theory have an infinite ammo capacity in its magazine. I think your weapon would be fine in strikes, consider there are a lot of adds to kill using ability kills, therefor rewarding more ammo. I don't think this would really provide a good case for the gun though, because it would still suffer from extremely low mag size, and fire rate.

Sounds pretty sweet. I don't think explosive rounds add more damage to a single target, but sounds great for crowd control.

It sounds great except for one thing: grenade kills granting ammo. This would enable a player in the crucible to play an entire match with nothing but grenades and heavy.

You should design a Mortar as a heavy. You could make it scatter or cause it to create a big boom. That would be a new heavy also!

Props to the idea but sounds too over the top, the thunderlord have a hidden perk that causes arc explotions, while the hight impact is kinda exotic it has a poor magazine and regen ammo while killing adds its broken for a heavy to the point that you could run an entire strike using only your heavy.
