I'm happy to say that this thread helped me get to Oryx on all characters, meet cool new people that are now regulars in my raids, and cohorts all challenges. I hope you've had similar successes. If not, here are some suggestions: - stay in normal until 305+ ; it's called hard mode for a reason and recommended light suggests that you stay in normal until you're 305+ - figure a way to communicate effectively and clearly Before you get in the heart of the moment. Once you're all yelling in the chaos it's too late to start setting that up. - if you prefer a role and know it well, tell your group this info upfront - CELEBRATE the wipes. Yes it's a set back but after our wipes I laughed and asked my group, "alright what's different. Where did you see that we can adjust." I took the feedback and we continued to improvise. Getting Warpriest to 3% and then having a full wipe followed by 2 hours of retries is frustrating. Keep positive. The loot feels that much better when it's hard to win. - DO NOT trash talk. This is for the squeaker who are feeling small because they're in a group of grown ups and want to feel big. It doesn't make you big. It makes you replaceable. I'd rather spend 10 minutes finding a new person than 45 minutes or 3 hours listening to trash. Many other mature gamers feel the same way. HOPE THIS HELPS! Happy Hunting Guardians.
