I was wondering if you guys have any tips for me that will make me stay calm.
I sometimes rage since PvP is full of bullshit. (I'm really not proud of it.)
My raging has resulted into a ban. (Started last week and ended today.)
I got another ban today. (I don't know why. Microsoft says I have sent inappropriate messages to other players which is impossible since I had a communication ban. It lasts for two weeks.)
I want to keep on playing and I definitely don't want to lose my account.
Do you guys have any tips for me to stay calm during PvP?
EDIT: I've seen some great tips so far and noticed that I'm not the only one.
EDIT 2: Thank you for all the tips! I've been playing PvP all day and was calmer than usual!

Just remember that there are more important things to get mad at
-
Just have fun. When you start making every win or loss a chore or a must, gaming ceases to be fun.
-
Drink
-
Don't get angry
-
Punch things, anything, as long as it's in range, punch it.
-
Idk how old you are but personally when I'm ready to absolutely flip out, I quit the game go to Netflix/Hulu/YouTube and watch my favorite cartoons from when I was a kid. It's damn near impossible to be mad and watch the Powerpuff girls. Unless it's the new Powerpuff girls.

Dude I feel you. I can get uncontrollably angry at pvp sometimes (idk why) and afterward I see how stupid it is to get mad. Just listen to music, works for me. It's hard to be angry when listening to my favorite songs.
-
Everytime you feel angry just laugh out loud. Don't say anything snarky or sarcastic, just laugh. Even if it's fake and forced it will help.
-
Get up. Turn console off. Do something fun. Stressing yourself past the anger/rage is pointlesd and stupid.
-
I have a pillow on my couch and whenever I get too pissed I usually bury my head in it and close my eyes for a few seconds
-
Don't get mad.
-
Get on the mic and take it out on other people. If I get pissed in a multiplayer game, I call the person who is pissing me off a "f---ot n---er." There's very few things in life that beats arguing with people while playing a game.

Edited by brandorobot: 8/3/2016 5:51:16 PMI used to get mad..all the time. I've broken controllers and wasted money having to buy new ones.. I'm not sure what changed, maybe just a mentality thing, but now when I experience things that would normally get me mad I might still say things to myself like "Really? That's just ridiculous..I can't believe this bullshit". But it comes out casually and not in a rage that I can't control. Then I just laugh it off and keep playing.

Autistic people should just not play pvp
-
Remember that getting mad, being resentful, or holding a grudge because of some other person is like letting them live in your mind rent-free. It's not worth it, and it's not like the other person is thinking about you, so why bother?
-
Idk maybe get good?

I used to struggle with rage everyday and the smallest things would just piss me off but I got better. Do I get frustrated with team mates sometimes yes but I don't tell them negative things because that only make the situation worse if you want to yell mute your mic so you don't rage as bad. Or you could become silent and mysterious and put your mic on mute and send messages
-
Masturbatr, read, work out, vape, video games, work more hours, punch a,pillow, kill mive and cats
-
You might feel a slight sting the night of the fight, that's pride -blam!-ing with you, -blam!- pride. Pride only hurts, it never helps.
-
Release the beast and punch your hand into a -blam!-ing wall!
-
Not recommending smoking cigarettes here, but get a pack, completely remove the Cellophane wrapping without tearing it. And try to fit it back on.
-
Cuss like a sailor and everyone -blam!-s but don't send it in message when I rage I turn my mic off and cuss really bad. It works for the most part just try not to squeeze the controller it's very fragile and will break. I get mad and throw pillows and hair ties it seems stupid but seeings they aren't heavy and won't break that's what I throw
-
Working out helps vent frustration. When you find yourself raging, take some deep breaths, and do some push-ups. You'll be amazed how quickly that works.
-
Squeeze the arm rests
-
I broke enough controllers that I got sick of buying new ones
