Can weapons begin to have buffs instead of continuing this nerf meta?

Enough already with making the weapons worse. Something needs done to medium/high impact AR's and PR's to make them better. So many guns are simply unusable in crucible at this time.

      • I want them to stop playing Whack a Mole with their game. All they do is nerf whatever comes up, everytime they create a buff and some nerfs, then they nerf the buff, buff something else, add some nerfs, rinse and repeat. And the sad part is the PVP community is the reason. NO ONE in their right mind would complain that their character is doing too much damage against npc enemies, OR that their teammates are killing stuff too well. It's all the kids/teens/adults that cannot handle losing against other players. They have to fight against lag, faulty coding AND people that have learned to excel in this environment. Then they blame the things in the game and they are the most vocal. Now that Hunters, n Locks have had a round of nerfs. They ignore that Sunbreakers recently got manhandled before their classes so they throw Titans under the bus. Once Bungie listens to them, which they will. They will direct their animosity to another weapon or class and the cycle will continue. What really needs to happen is Bungie needs to nut up. Stop Pandering to people that are raging and start to grow and listen to the calm well constructed criticism. if they create a meta, Create Counter Metas.

      • PD_33 and me want Bungie to show us the actual increase of Rangefinder perk when we roll over the Perk in the interface. And please figure out a way we can get better perks on our guns without waiting for RNG. I been trying to get a good Handcannon roll forever with Luck in CHamber but RNG is killing me.

      • Everything except autos was unusable in vanilla. After thorn was buffed everything else was unusable. After pulses were buffed they were nigh unbeatable. It's a mistake to say that just nerfs cause this.

        • PLEASE BUNGIE - NO MORE NERFS!!! I have been playing Destiny for about 6 months now (yes, I was late I'm a noob whatever) and my first class is Hunter. Rather quickly got looking at forums/feedback vids etc. as I could not understand why the 'Super' is so shit in comparison to the Titan and Warlock classes. Can you please re-buff the Hunter super as we don't stand a chance in the Crucible. Also, Snipers/Hand Cannons are way OP.

                  • Slow firing PRs need a buff too. I love a roll I have on a Spare Change (head seeker/ third eye) but I can't use it because it is so slow.

                  • Pulse rifles should be removed completely And scout rifles should have the most recoil amongst all weapon types. It's supposed to be LONG range so it should kick like a mule. Same with pulse rifles. Increase the recoil on all pulse and scout rifles. (Mida, hawksaw, PDX, and grasp are way to OP)

                      They were worried about the Power Creep, so we've got a Power Leak instead. Medium Impact AR's just need more base Range & Stability on average. High Impact AR's need more damage. After reviewing post-damage buff, we could decide what else is necessary. I imagine Stability would be the next obvious choice. Range is usually good enough on them. Alternatively, raising Auto Rifle Critical Scaling back up a smidgen might not hurt them either. Maybe create a perk that readjusts the scaling ratio back to Year One standards. This could be interesting. Medium & High Impact PR's just need slight boosts to damage. Their base stats are fine otherwise. Maybe even just adjustments to crit scaling, so that headshots are more punishing but nonprecision isn't too strong.

                    • Yes. No more nerfs. I say as a community we take over the forums until RoI drops and spam No More Nerfs and what needs to be buffed. Personally I would buff Hand Cannon: Need much better hit detection because as is they still miss 50% of the shots even at mid range and the crosshairs on the targets head/torso/etc. Also they need a slight range buff to compete. Like maybe 10% buff. Give Hawkmoon back its other 10% range in lost in a previous nerf. Give Thorn a solid 3 points of burn for 3 ticks per bullet. Last Word should be left alone. Auto Rifles: Admittedly I hate auto rifles. But that's because they have been soooooo crappy for so long. Range needs to be pushed a little bit out. Idk... 5%? And all should have better base stability by a slight amount as well. Im not even close to a expert on autos, but I still admit they need to be buffed. Shotguns: Take off the BS movement speed reduction. That is seriously moronic that was ever added. I say put shotguns back how they were at the end of HoW and the beginning of TTK. That was the most balanced shoguns ever were. Also they need to fix how sometimes shotgun rounds will teleport through targets and deal no damage. I know I'm not the only one who has had this happen cuz I just commented on a post about it like 10 min ago. Leave all the other guns alone for now. I'm not convinced Pulse Rifles need much of a buff since I get killed by Hawksaw regularly. But if Hand Cannons see a buff, then I think it would only be fair for pulse to see a buff as well. Scouts absolutely do not need to be touched at all. Class wise, there are only a few things I would buff. Hit detection on Nova Bomb namely. I swear to god I can't even count how many time I've had a hit with Nova Bomb and people walk away from it. Maybe buff the Sunsingers Firebolts to how they were before, just with 1 tick less than before and damage is lowered to 5 instead of 7. Stormcallers, Strikers, Defenders, Sunbreakers. Bladedancers, Gunslingers and Nightstalkers are fine as is.

                      • Unfortunately, the answer is likely no. PVP demands that we have bland, boring, uninspiring weapons so that they can have the illusion of balance during the rotating meta model.

                      • Balance needs both. We already had a nerfing phase so we probably should start buffing a lot of the stuff that fell from grace/never had a chance. But where's the standard going to be set? Do we go all up, stay where we are?

                        • I agree medium and high impact pulse rifle need a buff. There isn't any reason to use one over pdx45 or a hawksaw right now
