I've lost 9 games in a row in IB.
Might not win another game to rank up past 3. Why is it so hard to win a game in IB this time around?

Leave the lobby if you keep getting paired against the same invincible teams and with the same poorer players. Find lobby that you can do well in and stay there.

Play until 5 losses. After that, you're probably tilting and discouraged, which harms your playing skill making it more likely you'll lose your next game. You can't carry more than 5 Medallions anyway. Go play some PvE, cool off and refocus.

Had one game terminated by Mercy Rule for first time. The win/loss streaks have been much longer. Seems like way more Fireteams than usual. A lot of red bars finishing first in matches. Had one game where red bar finished first with 49 kills. More matches than usual where one team is short handed. Time in Lobby seems longer. I think the pool of players has gotten so small that players are matched regardless of skill, connection quality, or geographic location in order to reduce matchmaking times to something bearable.

Sometimes there will be another but very rarely... One guy needs to stay at the A/C and the rest need to bolt for B... The key for any match, then defend... I guess it is my fault for not jumping into a fireteam... (-_-) ....

Sounds like you're playing solo (like I do) Even though your 'team' keeps losing: -are you having fun? -are you capturing objectives? -is your k/d ratio positive or negative after each match? -are you getting better? -did you get any good end match rewards? If you answered yes to any of the above I'd say things are not so bad. And remember, [u]you cannot carry 5 other players to victory[/u] Have a great day guardian!

People kept complaining about sbmm because they don't want close scoring, competitive matches and they would rather just pub stomp. Bungie tweaked it more for connection instead of skill based and all of a sudden the games are more lopsided than before. The further bias towards skill based means more likely to get bad connections, but the bias towards connection means more likely for drastic skill gaps between teams. I know that the major issues such as latency need to be fixed before matchmaking could ever be fully tweaked, but I really don't see them setting up dedicated servers this late in the game's life cycle. The best we could really hope for is Destiny 2 starting off with dedicated servers. Edit for misspelling.

I know the feel. Had 8 games today of which I won 1 and the other games I joined in midway trailing by 5k points. Was a complete utter bullshite day

Its much harder this time. Keep getting matched up with teams that can't capture zones. And when we're on the verge of winning everything goes to shit. Oh and I kept getting killed by an invisible player. Kept getting killed by him but he was nowhere near me .
