This was fixed in year 1 (I think when House of Wolves dropped) and it was EXCELLENT. Why in the world we went backwards on this with Taken King I don't understand, but please bring it back bungie!

Oh he11 yeah
-
And certain exotics. I'm looking at you Twilight Garrison.
-
Major bump! I'm so fussy with colour matching my guardians, it's so difficult when the class items aren't affected by shader. I pulled out an old class item to remember how shaders would look with the class items and I am really struggling to understand why they even discarded the concept.. :/
-
Agreed :-)
-
I agree as well my new warlock bond is green when my shader is blue and gray
-
I agree completely, even the strike specific armor some of that does not shade, and after them making a big deal about year 1 exotics working with shaders, now the year 2 exotics don't react to shaders, they just need to make everything react to shaders. my biggest pet peeve right now (and i know it is small) is that my exotic titan mark that i got from new monarchry is red and white and none of the 4 new monarchy shaders are the same shade of red, super frustrating after the long grind to lvl 25 on my faction

Bump x infinity
-
Yes please!!! This drives me crazy!! Along with most Y2 Exotics.
-
I usually have to match my shader with my class item now
-
Yes, yes, and yes. I'm a Hunter main and matching my shader to my cape or vise versa is annoying as hell. One of the reasons I like the VoG cape, but I can't wear it for it has like 130 light.
-
They just need to fix the whole shading system. Some exotics are affected and some aren't
-
There seriously need a vendor for armor materials. They can sell weapon parts but not the other. The struggle is real right now.
-
Agreed.
-
The hunter struggle
-
And not having a light value

There are some things we do need to go backwards on (nerfs) but this is not one of them, I agree
