So I was playing IB with my friends and two of my friends kept getting "contacting destiny servers" and you are probably thinking -Yes, this happens every IB, people being Red-Bar-Warriors. I've always been on he receiving end of this networking bullshit. That is until today; After getting into the game we ran straight to C I got killed twice then the most revolting thing happened. I couldn't do damage to the enemy team. I thought I was dead (I got nerf guns they got real guns), but then I realized they where not shooting back. I tried to shoot them again, samething no damage. But it appeared as if they could not see me either. So I decided to look at the connections, everyone and me included where green-bar except two on their team. I thought what the heck lets do some more testing here. I tried to use my shotgun, no damage, Melee, no damage and then I tried my grenade and it instantly killed one of them. I tried to see I'f I could get their attention in anyway, running in the middle of their group, walking into them, nope. I tried to bladedance them, the blade did no damage but the shockwave did. The damage registered immediately, there was no lag. Next game we played everything was back to normal. But during our entire gaming session each of us got the Contacting Destiny Servers message here and there. I Checked my internet connection 100/100 zero packet loss. We even met another enemy player who was invisible and killed us with grenades and fist of havoc in another game, so it seems the crucible is still screwed up since the hot-fix. What irks me the most about this whole thing is I literally thought people straight up cheated when stuff like this happened before. But now, having experienced this BS from the other side. I know for a fact now it's Bungie doing all this. This is a disgrace. TL;DR Contacting Destiny Servers made me invisible and invulnerable yet I had perfect connection to the game and could only kill people with grenades.
