Hey there guys, That Casual here again. I've seem over the last few days now people constantly complaining about the price of Destiny's née DLC Rise Of Iron. Take a second to think about this. Destiny was 60$ USD and the season pass was 30$ USD (Maybe 40$ I don't remember) but all in all the game was around 90$-100$. Destiny: the Taken King was 40$ at launch and it featured a massive amount of content. We call this year 2 for a reason. Because Taken King was basically a new Destiny game as a whole. Yes we needed a disc for it and all the old stuff but it was considerably a new game. Hence they changed the name of the game. If you think about this, Rise Of Iron would considerably be year 3. You HAVE TO have TTK to play it because TTK is the disc for this game in a way. Just like you needed to original disc to actually play TTK. I understand how this may be confusing to some and not to others. But all in all that's what it is. Destiny with 2 DLCs was 90$ TTK and Rise Of Iron are about 90$ also because it's the second game. I feel like Bungie has ditched the 4 games/10 years and is planning massive DLC and small add-ons to keep the game alive. Which is smart in my opinion. So before you say it's a rip off and such, read this and kind of understand from their point of view and how they may actually look at this game as a whole. Thank you for reading and feel free to leave feedback, have an awesome day and look forward to all the great things we have coming for this game in the coming months.
