Before I get into anything else, I want to state that I finally reached Level 40 with my first character! Earlier today I started my first mission in regards to The Taken King - The Coming War, before entering this mission I looked at the Cabal like every other enemy that I have encountered so far: They were enemies, and they were in my way. But.. [spoiler]At the start of the mission I was inching my way forward until I came across a Cabal that had fallen to the ground just before dying, up until this point I was expecting heavy resistance - I was expecting a fight! But when I looked around and inched passed the fallen Cabal, I saw the utter annihilation of these formidable foes, but the horrors would get worse as I proceeded. I inched my way into the base and I was really cautious because it was so empty and devoid of threatening enemies that it felt like a trap, and then I saw an elevator with a Cabal enemy in it and naturally I aimed to prepare, but then the elevator began to malfunction and the Cabal tried so desperately and in vain to grab onto something as the elevator was destroyed, taking the Cabal with it. It was here that I felt sympathy for them - Yes they are my enemy, or so I'm told, but I still felt sympathy. When I finally came across some Cabal fighting against the Taken, I fought alongside the Cabal until the Cabal began shooting at me instead of the Taken. I do wish there was a feature that allowed for alliances to be formed, even if temporary; So, I had to kill the Cabal and it was the first time that I really felt bad about it.[/spoiler] Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning more as I play more of the remaining missions and read more of the Grimoire cards, and.. [spoiler]I can't wait to learn more of what happened to Mara Sov and her brother.[/spoiler] I will conclude this, my first actual topic, by asking a quick question about Destiny in general: Am I missing any important script or dialogue that doesn't appear in CC/Subtitles?
