Light Level makes no difference in Iron Banner
Started playing today.5 Hours Gameplay to get to LV40.
Currently 204 Light.
Dominating Iron Banner with my 210 Shotgun.
Hate mail filled with salt is flooding my inbox.

I know, I used a year one nlb before nlb got a year two and still could kill people with it, though it took one more bodyshot if it missed the head (yet barley. ) However extremely low light matters lol, you can get pooped on my some guns if to low.

Well most players I met on my team sucked in iron banner. I'm sure my fusion rifle would fix you up.

You had one game placed with a strong team against primarily pve playing guardians running ib for the rewards (it does happen) and you ran to the forums. Erm... Looking at your recent history, your last 4 Ib matches have all been defeats with KDs of 0.29, 1.58, 0.53 and 1.06 I'd say that shows it does count :)

I know this because I have played Trials at 138 light and only managed to get kills with a Sniper, my Felwinters did nothing in terms of damage.

I've said this for a long time. I played a 298 in trials yesterday. He was using a year one matador64. I was using a 335 party crasher, we shot each other a few times, we traded once and he killed me the next time I saw him. It left him with no health bar but my point is how is a 160 light weapon beating a 335 year 2 weapon.

The biggest difference I've seen it make is some snipers can kill lower light guardians with one body shot (I haven't been using snipers since December or so, to be fair). Other than that, it doesn't seem to have any more effect than the armor stat has.

Yeah IB and trails should have the same level advantages(and disadvantages) that PvE has,pre-ttk values so basically a LL 280 or 290 can not do any damage at all to a LL 335 player and the LL 335 player just looks at them and they die.

The difference is so small that it's negligible.

This is not news. The damage difference literally changes nothing. It's regular crucible with dedicated gear rewards, that's all. Bungie has just been very sneaky psychologically by tricking people into thinking there is a difference (placebo effect) and it's always been that way.
