That makes no sense. Does anyone have a similar level of intelligence that could help explain this company's thought process?

Cheaper to make in China

It says made in the usa, but assembled in china. Made and assembled are synonyms.

Made: individual pieces. Assembled. Pieces are put together

Made could mean creation of the product. Assembled usually means put together

The flag in the product is made in the US, the rest of the components are made and assembled in China.
