If you make a post at 06:00 and nobody replies to it, then you edit it at 09:00, it'll still show on the New forum list from where you posted it at 06:00 and be grouped with other posts from around that time. However, if someone responds to the post at 08:00, then on the New forum feed, it'll show around the 08:00 time and be grouped with other forum posts from around that time. If you then edit at 09:00, it'll STILL show around the 08:00 time. If you want your posts to show up properly, you should create a new post instead of simply editing and updating your previous one.
