“Weapon Balance” means PVP players are complaining

So after today’s stream I have come to realize “Weapon Balance” means PVP players are complaining about weapons. Bungie I love your game and I am going to continue to play because you have created something great. Let’s be honest a lot of studios create great games. The problem is there are very few games that become legend (Mario, Zelda, WOW, Halo). To me, I think Destiny has the potential to be bigger than all of those. (Strictly my opinion don’t hate). So, this pains me to call your weapon balance reasons out “We want you to be able to use the same weapons in PVE and PVP and feel like they perform the same.” There are numerous reasons why this is terrible logic. The main one being “GUARDIANS DON’T PLAY LIKE AI” Also, if you are so worried about weapon balance then why have you NEVER buffed a weapon that is under used in PVE? Why is 99% of weapon changes based on PVP? Why do you continue to make weapons LESS fun to use instead of making MORE weapons fun to use? Please just separate the two and be done with all this. You’re seriously killing PVE. Oh and thanks for nerfing Necrochasm again it was performing way too well. When this weapon was released it was one of the most extraordinary let downs for the community. Considering it was one of the hardest weapons to obtain. Who here remembers their first time using Necro and thinking “This is it?” Now when I play legacy strikes that won’t be viable either.

  • I feel like this whole game, Destiny, is just a metaphor for Daycare The Devs are the adults in charge of the children and their activities We're *obviously* the children, but we're separated into two groups: the PvP kids the PvE kids but you see, the PvP kids' parents pay the Daycare more money, and therefore their kids' need are more catered to and the PvE kids are just in the corner. eating glue. licking paint chips from the wall. because the adults in charge simply don't care enough to give them the attention, respect, and care they deserve after a year of loyalty but who cares, right? it's Bungie they made Halo they don't need to listen to the more rational side of the community just whoever makes them more popular and more money
