How is the lore of The Last Word and Thorn connected?
Let the hunt begin! For our first discussion we will be trying understand the lore of Thorn and The Last Word, and find out how these two weapons lore is connected.

Shin Malpher, the user of The Last Word, had a one on one final duel with Dredgen Yor. This standoff was also believed to be the origin of the Golden Gun super. Grimoire: The Last Word 4

You blue balled me on your lore and Grimoire for a full year.[/spoiler] [spoiler]Thorn and Rose are not two different weapons. It's the same weapon, viewed through a different perspective. For that matter, Thorn and TLW are not the same weapon either. Nor is Jaren Ward the same person as Dredgen Yor. Although, since the lore is so ambiguous and up for interpretation in most parts, the writers could certainly work some fanfic moves and pull a "we wuz usin cymbohlisum t3h entyre thyme".[/spoiler]

One of my friends was talking about this, saying that he watched a lore video on this. What I remember, Shin Malphur and Dredgen Yur went to a 1 on 1 hand cannon battle. Shin beat out Dredgen, who self resurrected (from what I remember, my friend told me this a while ago), and killed Shin with The Rose. It then corrupted into Thorn and The Last Word corrupted into The First Curse. Either that or TLW corrupted into TFC then into Thorn.

Some guy named dredgen Yor knew a guy called shin malphur. Shin had the last word and dredgen had the rose (but turned evil due to darkness)
