[b]EDIT - PLEASE READ BEFORE REPLYING:[/b] It wasn't damage ref or lag. It's called desynchronization and it occurs when your player data gets either corrupted or held back by the server or your ISP. Your connection to the game can be perfect and have this happen to you. It's a somewhat rare occurrence in Destiny due to the way Servers are set up now days, but it is still possible as seen here. Everyone had a green bar and no one was rubber-banding which is how you can tell it was a desync and not lag. Nothing Bungie can do about these things happening, Servers just glitch out sometimes.
This post was just made to show a funny glitch that happened in the game due to some server-side issues. NOT to showcase lag, cheating or anything of that nature. Only the dude in the first clip was lagging for a slight bit, besides that no one else was lagging. Everyone had green bars, shots were connecting and there was no rubber-banding. My game client just went way out of sync with the server. Next game everything was fine and I even stayed in the lobby. Just a note for you guys to read

What happened on 4 was sometimes you turn invisible so they can't see you and you can't hurt them :)

Although I would of just spent the time exploring the map because you can't look at this nice rock without some asshole shooting you in the back while I'm bossing some serious architectural monologuing over here that even Kevin McCloud would be my bitch.

1 Replyno one was cheating it was your connection to whoever was host..notice how no one reacted to you..if you were on their screens they would of shot back not ignore you..besides if you use that cheat it says immune

1 ReplyHoly shit dude! Insanity! Worst part about this though? Bungie has stated a few months back that they don't care about our videos. Any game dvr proof of cheating in trials or lag in PVP won't carry weight with Bungie execs. It's a sad state of affairs

2 RepliesHey watched all videos. It's your fault. It's you who is lagging. I want you to notice that only once, in the first clip, did people notice you. You're walking around invisible to them and they don't even bother shooting you for heavy. The problem then lies on your end not theirs. Stop blaming everyone else for your Walmart internet connection. That said, the problem of you not damaging anyone is a result of the damage ref in full swing. Laggers like you will no longer enjoy the advantage of killing people while they cannot see you, as evidenced by the four videos you posted.

This Iron Banner is far more stable. You can take a quick visit to the forums and see the amount of feedback...spoiler alert, it's not nearly as much as it was last time...

Sorry dude, it's your connection to the server. Unlikely your fault you are out of sync but it does show the damage referee can work even if not all the time

Wish Bungie would just stop IB for a while as a monthly event, it gets worse everytime and on the few occasions it doesn't get worse, it for sure as shit does not improve. Get some PVE event going with some unique challenges in certain raids and strikes or mission, with a full armour/weapon set to acquire like IB gives. At least then the latency and spawn killing won't be so much of an issue, hell may give them time to work on it better. Its always one step forward two back with Bungie, Destiny as a game is briliant, why else would everyone come back to it everyday? The problem is the studio working on the game simply not listening to the people that know it way better than Bungie realizes. We as the community have millions upon millions of hours in comparison to your few thousand at the most and yet you choose to believe your side? Completely ignoring all that experience and advice from the people that want the best from the game, unlike Bungie who simply want money, I wish it were different but I have not one reason to believe otherwise.

3 RepliesMy question is, how come they dont see you, i see them going after your other teamates, at times, but never you. I agree its bs cause they were practically invincible, but even more amazing is you were literally a ghost. Not one shot from you counted, but shots, a few, from your teamates, counted, and only a few. Ive ran into this multiple times, i have recorded it as well, just dont know what to do with it. This shiit will never stop.

WOW! WTF?!?!?! I have not experienced anything like that on PS4 yet (I'm a year 2 noob). If I did, I would smash everything in my house! What kind of setup are you running? I only play in the evenings between 7 and 10. I have Charters 60m hard wired and average out around 50m with the devices in my house. I usually average around a 11/14 ping. I have all ports forwarded to Destiny's specs and my PS4 w/ Destiny is top priority on my network. I notice A LOT of BS in Iron Banana, but nothing this hardcore. I'm not blaming your set up, just curious.
