New "Forge of Lords" DLC idea WARNING!! Extremely long read ahead. Be prepared

So as we all know, laggy ban- I mean iron banner is right around the corner. And I know that we are ALL just soooo excited about it. But that got me thinking. What if we got a DLC about the battle of twilight gap. And after a considerable amount of thought, I can to the conclusion that it would be the best DLC for destiny. (I know there isn't much to compare it to, but that's beside the point) the reasons why this would be a great idea is actually quite simple. EVERYONE knows about it. You don't have to be like me and read grimoire to know about it. Lots of weapons and armor reference it, NPC's reference it, there is a map dedicated to it, there's even A GAMETYPE in honor of the lords who won us that battle. So all that Bungie would have to do is just, well, put more references to it. Anyway, enough about "why", now let's get to "what". This is my idea, instead of the next DLC (rumored to be called "Forge of Gods") call it "Forge of Lords" (you'll understand why in a bit). It starts out with us going to Mercury to meet the infamous Osiris, who claims to have found out how use a vex gate portal. But there was a problem with the timeline. As he was re-watching the past (cause he's obsessed with knowledge) he discovered that the iron lords were not a part of the battle of the twilight gap. As he brings it up, everyone also gets the hazy feeling that they can't remember who they were, even shax can't remember. Everyone fears that the vex may have taken them out of the timeline, and without them, the battle would have been lost, thus would change the course of history. So basically the player's timeline (where you killed atheon, Crota, skolas, and oryx) would start to fade since history has been changed. So the speaker sends you to go investigate the portal, even help in the battle if you must. Once you reach Mercury and the dialogue ends (it should be about how the guardians are losing but the iron lords are nowhere in sight), the vex attack Osiris's camp. You are then told by Osiris, and Saint-14 (he supports/follows Osiris in case you didn't read the grimoire) to enter the portal and help. As you enter, the vex follow you to try and stop you from interfering. (Keep this in mind as you speculate) that's the first mission, kill all the vex that came after you. Afterwards, your ghost tells you to interfere as little as possible. You travel to the city to see how things are going, when all of a sudden, you see all of the vanguard/crucible leaders. Gathered around a war table (except for cayade) in cayade's place is a male human that makes the vanguard bet (jokingly) that if he died, that cayade would take his place. Then out of no where came the fallen attacking the FOB. That's when you take action. You pick up a nearby sniper and start picking off the fallen. Who knows, that sniper could be patience and time year 2/3. It would fit into the story since you need to be unseen. And imagine how sick that would be, to get a guaranteed exotic from the story, not as some reward from a bullshit room (looking at you spindle). Basically it's a defend a position from too much damage type ordeal, a little bit different from the usual mission. anyway, after that, you hear zavala and ikora asking about who that sniper was while cayade calls for help. It shows the human vanguard for hunters sitting down with his arm sliced off (no blood case T for teen) he says some final words and parts ways, now everyone knows SO MUCH MORE about cayade's past. Anyway, there will be other story missions with somewhat similar play styles. Some being sit back and provide cover or take out enemies before they flank the city defenders. And this entire time the vanguard is wonder who these rogue guardians are. The final Story Mission will be you (and your fire team) vs all of the prime servitors. The end cutscene would include you standing over the servitors and your ghost saying " we won the battle" but then your guardian looks into the horizon and sees thousands of fallen (banners would be shown) and say "no... We're just getting started" and that's how the STORY missions end. Now onto the raid. The raid would start out with you and your fire team having 1 min to set up ambushes. You each can spawn one turret and one trap. The first segment of the raid would sort of be defend your position. It'll consist of 2-3 waves. Each wave having 10-15 squads of fallen. (A squad would consist of 10 shanks, 5 dregs. 3 vandals, and 1 captain) with sniper vandals in the back. After you successfully repel the attack, you must gain ground. As you push deeper into the Forrest outside of the wall, you encounter 4 Spider walkers (one from each house), all immune to one different element. Like devil one is immune to solar, exile is immune to void, winter is immune to arc, and kings is immune to kinetic (first time for everything. And it would a relatively large area, but in a way that if you chose to snipe, fall-off would actually make it take loner to do damage. So unless you want the fight to take 1 hour by just camping in the back, then you have to be close enough for them to shoot you. I haven't though about what would come next, but the final fight should be the fire team vs all of the kells, where winter and kings just runs away at 5% health. But each of them would have a special ability based on their house. You can respectably defeat all of them as if they were bullet sponges...Except the devil. He had the power of dark imbued to him. I haven't thought about what you'd have to do to kill him, but it just sounds cool imo. Once you kill him, a cutscene, yes a cutscene!, happens where it shows your guardian, not the fire team leader, standing next the the dead kells.zavala would as who you were, and you would answer based on what class and race you are. Titan human male would say radeghast, awoken female warlock would say efrideet. Then your character runs away, and your ghost is very mad, asking why you did what you did. And then your guardian says "this is the way history needed to be, in order for our actions to happen. They need the iron lords." (Now do you understand the "forge of lords" title? Lol) And as your character approaches the gate, they say to the dead vex "so that's why they wanted us out, not because they wanted interfere, but because they were afraid that we would." You then proceed to step through the portal, where you find Osiris and Saint-14 dead, and what appears to be a guardian's ship fly away. And then it ends. TL;DR A DLC about how our guardians are the iron lords. If you have any comments, questions, or ideas, leave them below. Any criticism is welcome so long as it is justifiable. Hope you guys enjoyed the read. Edit: I tried to organize it more since it looked ugly as one big wall. It's now in sections. Hopefully it's easier to read now Edit 2: holy crap this is trending. How? It was just an idea. Another edit: apparently the raid seems boring to some. And looking back at it, it kind of does. So feel free to leave suggestions on how to improve it And another edit: so instead of just going straight to the walkers, someone gave me the idea that you have to go through the forest with no radar with steals vandal snipers perched in trees. Yay or nay?
