7 RepliesThe real scary part is not knowing what bungie sees. I tend to think all will be well as long as there is an equal presence yelling for the brats of the Internet to deal with it. Anyone that is struggling with their character in a game with this many options is free to try a new build or character. Each class and even subclass is very different and they may just be in the wrong class or gear for their play style. These people are selfish and sadly very proud of it. They will publicly insult or belittle you if you try and hint that it might be them. These people are struggling as have we all at one point. In response to this they want someone else to give up a perk or ability so they can feel like they are winning again.........WTF is that lol. I have found a number of these people run no or very little armor in favor of agility. They are mad that a bolt will almost kill them even though they are the ones that chose to give up the armor. I'm sure you can imagine what types would tend to run a full recover/agility build. The burn stops their recovery and the damage almost kills them. I'm sure they thought they were clever in this build and a bolt is really the one counter they can't get around. I will roast these little rats relentlessly when I see them now. Knowing they have little or no armor makes me wonder what they can do. I wanna target one all game and never let up. I'm curious what that would loon like. I get a bolt every 25 secs and I have a melee to boot. All I have to do is get one bullet to hit them with the bolt and they die from what they say. I wanna see it.

Not really shaking in my boots here. I don't use the current popular build fit the Storm Caller. I did when I was learning the class, but have changed to more of a neutral game build. As for VW and SS. I look forward to some tweaks. Right now the VW has no neutral game and the super needs some work as well. Sun Singer has solid neutral game, but is sad when it comes to its intended role, which is support. So I welcome the change and the opportunity to fall in love with the Warlock again.

1 Replyhow about touch of flame and firebolts only sets people on fire if you hit them with the actual thrown projectile (like solar grenades), and whatever the perk is that increases stormtrance time gets a slight nerf in duration and uses up the grenade/melee charge.

Why wasn't anyone talking about Sunsingers after ttk dropped? Why was everyone saying Sunbreakers were OP and a radiant skin sunsinger deserved 55% DR back when Sunbreakers were being bitched about? Ffs only a month ago the hive mind of the forums was bitching about stormcallers! How the -blam!- are some people this stupid?! I mean seriously, the class has been literally UNCHANGED for over a year, but now it's suddenly a problem?! What the hell is wrong with you people?? Does rational thought seriously not exist here? I need to go have a chat with Ikora, I think I found the heart of the darkness. It's right here in the forums. We need to put together a fireteam composed of the best guardians the tower can get together and we need to plunge into the abyss of the forums and purge this darkness out of it once and for all. Seriously though, it took people less than a week to figure out why Sunbreakers were broken. Literally right after the nerfs to the Titans the forum hive mind attacked stormcallers, and since they figured out that stormcallers are fine as-is, they're targeting something else. How can people not see that this is nothing more than a ploy to get warlocks unnecessarily nerfed? This shit makes my head hurt, man.

What most people are complaining about is not part of my regular repertoire so I feel if those are the changes affected, then I'll feel relatively unscathed post nerf- at least for Sunsinger. Stormcaller, not so much... No one's complaining about Voidwalker it seems. That's the subclass used least it would seem. Many build options there I want to start toying with more.

2 RepliesI killed a StormTrance with a fusion rifle.....a -blam!-ing fusion rifle! Yes, most of the time when I see a StormTrance they get the jump on me and I die. That super is good and with its range, chaining ability, and long duration this super can rack up some kills. But there is a difference between good and OP. I don't think Storm Trance needs nerfed. Now off to Sunsinger. I had to snipe (1k stare) a radiance Warlock running ram and solar chest piece twice in the head before he died. In the process of me getting off those those two shots. My team and I was burning crisp. I was trying to shade step and snipe at the same time and luckily I got the shots off, but burned to death on the process. Now my thoughts is that I do think that armour on Warlocks with the right build is a little to much. This is why I think Warlocks are getting so much hate ever since year 2 ram came out and adding solar armour chest plate which gives armour a bigger push. But still good isn't OP. I vote to not nerf Sunsinger. But if there was a nerf I would suggest making firebolts with VF and Tof builds do same damage, but give those hit more time to recover. The armour build is with radiant skin, Ram, and solar armour is a tank for sure, but they are slow and team shooting will drop them quick. Hunter Main
