EVERY single time I download an update/patch for Destiny, I have to redownload TTK 18 gb update, this started when TTK came out, and has yet to be fixed, I tried everything, restarting my PS4, restoring licences, yadda yadda yaddaa. Anyone know how to fix this? Also, every time I turn off my PS4, the update wont start downloading until I go into my PS4 settings and "test connection".

I had this problem with my ps3 and thrice (including this week) have had to reinstall the entirety of the game. The only reinstallation method that has worked for me is this: 1. Delete all Destiny files of your console - Don't worry, your character info is saved on Bungie's servers and will return when you log in 2. From PS Store, download and install the Compatibility packs 1, 2, & 3 IN ORDER. 3. Boot Destiny and let the new patch download and install. When the Title screen appears, exit game. 4. From PS Store, reinstall TDB, HoW, and TTK expansion packs (the 100kb key) IN ORDER, and any other goodies you have - weapon packs, red Bull quest, etc. 5. Boot Destiny again and let it transfer the 5.96 gb file (what and why this is, IDK) 6. Play This method may seem roundabout, but after 7 failed attempts this week, and 3 last year, this is the only method I found to work.

it's crazy, i can't find any words except bad words. One week ago I've downloaded (actually downloaded!) 18 GB with patch 1.19, this weekend I've started my console and woohoo - 1.20 patch and 18 GB downloading started (it's downloading, fcuk), so 8 hours left.

I keep having it say I'm downloading version 1.20

Let me clarify something, I think it applies to you as well: No one has to download the entire 18GB again. No one. Most people think they are because the screen "Preparing to download" lasts forever and once they see the download they only see the total amount of 18GB. There are 2 ways of updating a game on PS4: - Update continuing on all previous ones (like Destiny): each update will start with a long "preparing to download" status, you DON'T download anything during this status! Once the download really starts, you should notice that you are already at +90% of the download. This is because the +90% was already downloaded/installed before. - Standalone download: this type of download has a relatively short "preparing to download" status. Actual download starts at 0%. For your info: the download of yesterday was less than 500MB! THat's why it's downloaded in a minute or so once it really starts. Not 100% sure but I think that's what happened for you as well.

I also always have to download all 18gb.
