So who is the playtester that is wrecking with fusion rifles?
I want to know who on the playtesting/balance team is a god with fusion rifles. It's the only way I can see why they were put into this current state.
Seriously. They were really strong in day 1. They were subsequently nerfed in dark below because plug 1.1s were basically crossmapping if they had rangefinder. They were nerfed in house of wolves. Unnerfed for a short period and were actually usable, then 1.1.1 reapplied. Then they were nerfed again in 2.0. Were they nerfed again in 2.1? I can't even remember. Most likely they were.
Fusion rifles and mythoclast have been piledrived right into the ground. The only way this could be is that Greg or someone in playtesting is just wiping the floor with everyone and they're punishing this one God of Fusions. Because these play testers clearly aren't playing pvp outside of some Lan party or they would realize just how god awful they perform.
Please, oh lord of fusions, calm down just a little bit so that us weaklings may be able to effectively use them.

I use a fusion rifle with pretty high stability and enough impact to one burst people. But I can watch a burst I fire at a guy running straight at me, then two or three bolts will just fly to off to his left. We get fusions were op on day 1, but this is slowly becoming more and more ridiculous. We don't have four special weapons, we have three. And this is coming from someone who use to use fusion rifles back in year 1 (except in house of wolves shotgun game too strong). I want them to be good again, this whole random element they threw on them is stupid. They already have a charge time if I managed to fire off my gun after charging it I would like my projectiles to actually go where I'm aiming.

Probably someone who knows how to use them and can melt people with them. Fusion rifles are beasts, you just have to use your brain to get your kills with them.

His name is "Cliff" he works in the mail room. One day they let him try out a fusion rifle in crucible and he shot Sage "nerf boy" Merrill with it. Everyone in the room laughed so Sage rage quit, threw his control at the screen and yelled for all fusions to be destroyed. It's total fiction but I can see it so clearly it feels real to me.

Only a small handful of Fusion Rifles are worth using like Queenbreaker's Bow or High Impact Fusion Rifles.

I think all fusion rifles max out at 47 damage and shoot 4 bolts, so having a max impact, 10 charge fusion is a waste. Plan C is my go to. I have tried Hitchhiker FR4, The Vortex and a few others, but the slow charge rate and lack of stability (the latter affecting bolt spread) make the others too inconsistent and dangerous to use. You literally get one chance to hope and pray all bolts hit AND the person you're shooting does not have max armor.
