There has only been one PVE event since launch
Why is it that? Why has there only been ONE pve event in the entirety of the game since launch while there will soon to be a total of four pvp events?
PVE: The Queen's Wrath
PVP: Trials of Osiris, Iron Banner, SRL, Crimson Doubles
I know I'm going to get called out for this but this is ridiculous! Please for the love of the game have at least one other pve event.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I am NOT talking about DLC. DLC =/= events. For all of you kinderguardians out there, Queen's Wrath was a year one, completely free, week long PVE event with its own bounties and event specific armor.
The wolves and blades of Crota are also not events, they were what is known as INCURSIONS.

Only answer you need - Marketing team took on a lot of design responsibility. Behavior over the past year would suggest the small live team is struggling to come up with a coherent path to get them past mistakes made internally pre-launch. There was also pretty substantial turnover in creative/administrative talent to navigate. Can safely expect the microtransactions were an attempt to safeguard company sovereignty in the face of missed deadlines this year and what stipulations are in their contract with activision for precisely that scenario. They're either treading far more water than they're explicitly letting on or putting nearly all their focus on the release of an actual product (for the first time). Have to realize other publishers have seen and studied what made Destiny successful (beyond the unprecedented marketing achievement) and there will several notable competitors emulating those strengths from here on out. Destiny 1 is a treadmill for them they want off of. The sequel will need to be substantially polished to make that happen. You're just stuck in the interim.

Update the raid levels and gear, and add specific quests for those raid. I'm just asking to give us more pve options to play. Bring back large one time rep gains for weekly strikes(say 100 per strike x3) just like legendary marks. Give us challenge modes for Vault of Glass, Crota's End, and Prison of Elders. I think pvp is in a good place, but don't ignore your pve players.

1 ReplyEdited by Kbanause: 1/27/2016 6:09:54 AMto all who think there are enough pve events: maybe you all agree that as a pvp-only player you have more chances to get gear with a high light level (>315) than as a pve-only player. you have ToO and Iron Banner versus King's Fall. You only get loot once a week in the raid (and even then it's not guaranteed that you get anything) and have to wait until the next reset. With ToO and IB you have the chance to get gear at the end of each round. For your information: the only occasion where i got a helmet with a light level over 314 was at the SRL. The highest light level on a helmet I ever got in the raid was 313...

1 ReplyAll these asshats in the comments saying Festival of the Lost...yes, FotL was a PVP/PVE event, however, it's only going to occur once a year and didn't drop ANY gear. Only those stupid masks. So I don't count FotL as an event similar to IB, Sparrow Racing, Crimson Doubles, or ToO.

4 RepliesPlus now, the two events that have happened recently (SRL, and Festival of the Lost) have enabled players to get gear from playing the activities, BUT, you can also get some of that gear a lot easier if you pay eververse for it. Most likely, the Crimson days will introduce two or more shortcuts for getting most of the gear.

Trials of Osiris is part of a DLC. Festival of the Lost was a PVE and PVP event.
