Crucible logic ,Return of Thorn
Funny year one it was the thorn. People said it was over powered, sweaty, a gun that would just kill u just by looking at it cause how sexy it was. Now year 2 we see the last word. Ever heard of the saying history repeats itself. Will only be so long till people start crying wolf. Funny cause those guns were yin & yang. Honestly bungie bring thorn back. Why you ask? Because of the lore, because of how it looks. If it wasn't for the lore behind the gun I wouldn't care about my hunter or destiny anymore. Bungie if you do bring it back just change how the gun works. Dragons breath went from a total disappointment to something fun to use. First curse was terrible till u fixed its exotic perk. And I'm sure there's other examples out there. Some may disagree what I say but before the first curse got fixed I won 5 straight matches in elimination and plenty other amazing games. Used the suros and beat 1000 yrd stare campers using last word's in a meta where auto rifle arent really used. No its not the gun you're using. Its the one who's using it. Bring thorn back don't care how u do it I got faith in you bungie. Everyone who reads this please read some of the comments below cause there are some points I make out that can really make u think that it might not actually be a bad idea and start something actually good for crucible and the community and I will respond to any comments bad or good.

My problem with Thorn has always been that it is the only weapon with a "burn" in pvp. Back in year one pretty much every primary had an elemental burn but they were not active in crucible. I never thought it was fair that you had to use that gun to get that burn ignoring all your other weapons.

4 RepliesThey shouldn't have left any exotic behind :p the last word has always been just as powerful as thorn too, and then pulse rifles got a huge buff and were arguably more overused than anything lol

1 ReplyI use Thorn in Crucible because it discourages players from challenging me mid gunfight with their snipers. Most snipers get lit up with Thorn and they run. It's not a bad way to deal with those who fall back on their Specials.

33 Repliesgtfo of here with that. Thorn was the reason why ppl hated crucible so much. Only bitches and queers like u would use an overpowered piece of shit like that. You could give that gun to a monkey and get a 10 kill streak. Get some skill and quit using the meta.

Thorn and tlw are not even close to the same. Thorn was a 2 shot kill if you had a steady hand, it's all I used in crucible. Tlw is a beast, but not even close to what thorn was... You need to adapt to it. Find a way to out shoot it. If that doesn't work for you, start killing them back with tlw

2 Repliesthe only benefit of making it y2 is being able to use it in trials but as long if your above 290 in trials I believe all guns do same damage so if you have the thorn and are 290 or up while using It, it is still a good trials weapon unless I'm wrong about the light. but it still wreaks in crucible almost everygame I see atlease 1 or 2 people using it not including me

1 ReplyYou know, funny thing was back then before thorn was buffed, people kept asking me why the -blam!- was i using a piece of shit gun. After the buff for thorn, i bet those same people used Thorn religiously and started praising it. I think thorn's time has passed and it should stay like that
