EDIT : this post is intended to expose liberal hypocrisy. I honestly don't care bout what any candidate said or did 40 years ago..... And I agree that Bernie's weird attempt at allegory in the 70's is not very consequential in today's politics.
But let's see l.... how many Sanders supporters have been guilty of talking about ancient dirt on the GOP contenders (Ben Carson smears from the 1960's and 70's were outlandish, outdated, and unsubstantiated...trump quotes pulled from the 1980's.......) Digging up old dirt is page one of the democrat playbook; whether the dirt is relevant or not is a concern that never stops the left, until it's suddenly about one of their own. That's when the moral authority democrat apologists step in, as we are seeing in the responses below.
